Loni's so guarded, poor thing, you can tell she has a lot of pain, most comedians do.

I think Lonni went through a lot growing up she doesn't seem to like getting deep she seems to avoid a lot of questions or turn them into jokes... which makes sense because people say that comedians have the most pain, but it's crazy she will cry over someone else's story I think she uses other people's stories to let out her pain.
@EvaElyse8 жыл бұрын
She defiantly did go through a lot growing up. She often deflects when asked questions that would cause her to go deeper. it's a shame because I feel like out of everyone on the panel, there are very special, and much needed things that she could share. Hopefully one day she'll feel safe enough to allow us the see the real Loni. Her stories are needed, and a greater barrier on the panel would be broken.
@monidani5068 жыл бұрын
Someone in the comments on Facebook said that in an old episode Lonni said when she was younger her stepfather would buy gifts for all the kids and for her mother but wouldn't buy anything for her. I know that must have hurt a lot. She dismisses her own feelings by pushing them to the side she does the same thing herself that her step father did to her as a child. She is a comedian so it's kind of like she has trained herself to laugh at her pain or just not address it.
@LV2308gmail4 жыл бұрын
IamChosen488 she may just genuinely feel for whomever the story is about because she’s that compassionate. I’m an empath and a Cancer woman also and I was watching the Drs, one day and this lady was pregnant and did not carry her baby full term and she had to get a hysterectomy. When I tell you I felt her pain all the way through my tv I did! I literally was in tears. She probably masks her pain so that she doesn’t have to relive the moments, but she won’t be able to heal that way.

I'm just waiting for that moment when Loni has her breaking point I just feel like it's coming and tbh with you guys I think Loni must have been through a very traumatic experience because the way she just shuts out or makes everything a joke it's something from her past that really affected her and when she does have her emotional moments she BREAKS down immediately she just as emotional as Tamera is really so when that moment comes ya'll it's going to be really bad because she's been holding all that stuff in and that's not good she definitely needs to open up because she will feel a lot better.

I'm sobbing like crazy. I'm in my final year studying economics. It's been a bumpy ride for me studying abroad. Most of my friends didn't attend uni after they got a diploma and started their own business and some took over their parents' established companies. I have so many things I want in life. From where I am now is far from where I want to be. When I look at my friends doing so well with their businesses, I felt the immense pressure and constantly asking myself "why am I still studying? For what? Am I going to get a job after this? Or shall I just go back home and live with my family?" When Tamar and Adrienne said don't rush your life, God has a plan for you, it makes me feel better. Maybe I'm just wanting so many things and it is just not the time yet. With a constant hardwork , I know I could be successful in life.
@faizasaeed10008 жыл бұрын
Girl ur doing a great thing by attending uni and getting that degree , businesses can fail but to be honest having a certificate is always a good backup, u don't wanna drop out uni and then regret later so many reach people still get asked if they have degree or not and some even like Tyra banks she still went back to uni and studied so don't feel pressured ur already in ur last year and time flies and u will graduate and be independent, and maybe than u can start ur own business or maybe work and about the finding the job don't worry about it leave that to God , keep working hard and u will get what u deserve
@pres8808 жыл бұрын
+Nora Green im going through the same thing. I have been in uni studying science for almost 6 years and im 8 subjects away from graduating. people have told me growing up to give up my dream of being a scientist and do something easy so i can get a job and make money because i might not have it in me to accomplish this. I have moved around the world since I was a baby including during uni which is what cause the delay in graduating. I've been working 40 hours a week while studying full time and i too stress that it might be all for nothing if i dont get a career job. my friends have all graduated, worked part time, lived a stable life and now have career jobs but you know what, the end is near and i keep telling myself that things will work out and not to freak out. Im so glad there are women like this on this talk show to encourage young women like me to keep pushing
@MsDanceDiva2348 жыл бұрын
It is great that you are attending university and by doing that you are broadening your horizons. You are putting yourself at an advantage point. Imagine if the economy fell completely, what would happen to all your friends businesses without them having degrees? They will end up working in a minimum wage job because they don't have credentials. Anyways, don't focus on others only focus on yourself and what you need and want. In the end, they won't matter only your happiness will keep you in check for the future. 😊

You ladies said “what if the economy fails”. My country Myanmar had a coup last year, completely crippling the economy and many people had to leave to look for jobs overseas. I relocated to Europe with the same company and continue to work on the projects. It’s crazy to look back and see how far I’ve come in just 6 years and God knows what lies ahead! Tamar advice spoke through my soul... Literally. It was soo touching & relatable. Im taking the advice tamar would tell her youger self because i can relate & feel the same way & im only 19 yrs old. At this age you feel lost, hopeless, & your worry alot about the present & future. The advices Adrienne & Tamera gave was VERY healing & relatable as well. I feel like when you're young you just want everything to be perfect & go your own way. It's scary because knowing that you have no control over your life makes you anxious gives you anxiety. The pain & stress & can be overwhelming & it can cause you to doubt your future. That's why you should always keep God first in your life spiritually & physically because he has the power to make everything better & stress free💖🙏

Janazia Thompson, This is wisdom coming from a 50 year old woman who has always believed in having a great character. Love God first and seek his guidance and the advice of others with positive attitudes and loving hearts. STAY AWAY from hurting people because they WILL hurt you eventually. I'm 33. I would tell my younger self to be relentless when it comes to your career, don't take no for an answer, save up to buy your own place and you won't be fat forever, guys will come around like bees to honey.

Life is what you make it. Live each day not worrying about tomorrow. Tomorrow is never certain. I'm turning 30 this year. One thing I'd say to anyone your age is take the time to evaluate the people you surround yourself with. if they aren't bringing you up, let em go.

For being on a show called The Real Loni is anything but. She is guarded and not emotionally open which is made all the more obvious because her cohosts are. I hope that she can find happiness some day because she just seems so sad to me.
@quaintrelley8 жыл бұрын
I've always thought this. She makes a joke about everything because she doesn't want to open up or face her insecurities.
@aliciadupree4106 жыл бұрын
Are we watching the same show? Loni cries more then anybody, she's a cancer she wears her heart on her sleeve and just because she doesn't expose her entire life on the show doesn't make her any less real! Ppl like you feel like you're suppose to know everything about someone because they are on tv, I bet if she was the opposite of what you think you would still have something negative to say smfh

The reason I love this show so much, even though its a panel full of women is bc they discuss real topics & bc they're real topics it can go for either gender such as this topic, we all go through things & often put in situations that we may in counter or had in counter & didnt know how to handle it but once you get passed it you can look back & encourage yourself just how they are reflecting, this can go for guy or girl & thats the best thing about this show

Thank you Tamar for that wonderful advice. I'm 18, and currently going through a really rough time in my life, I had the "perfect life", everything was easy and planned as i grew but now, i find myself facing really tough situations that make me question myself.. but as known, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I know that god is testing me and has what's best for me in the future. As i'm going into adulthood , independence and maturity i'm crossing challenging and shaky paths that will lead me into the right one, so again thank you for these advises ladies.

I got a little emotional seeing Tamera's younger self, it was if my childhood flashed before my eyes. I felt like I was looking back at my old self as well, it's so funny how people you watched on TV as they grew up, you grew with them. We are around the same age & that picture took me back & just allowed me to think how you should enjoy your youth. I really loved what Tamar said regarding...not rushing your life. It is very true & it is something I am still struggling with today. Note to self take each day as it comes & enjoy God's blessings.

If I could go back in time I would tell my younger self, be true to who you are. Love yourself. Guard your heart, and don't put up with people hurting you. And don't just give your heart to anyone.

I love how everyone was humble in this segment. Maybe it was the introspection on their younger selves then vs how they are today as mothers, wives and as women. It was inspiring!
