Gothalion made a vid. Basically, you can play on whatever tier you've unlocked, including not overleveled at all. But once it's unlocked, your character has it forever, and you can use gear of up to the highest tier you have opened, whether or not you're in your own game or someone else's. Once it's part of your character, it's there.

Its been confirmed that beating the Overpower will also level up everything else. You can get Overleveled rubis and sandhawks.

It's a quest reward from Safe and Sound (turned into Marcus.) It makes the item of the day change more often. (Its pretty much useless)

Well i did some research to see an avg enemy HP, on Over lvl 1- lvl 73 skag has 20mil, the spider tank lvl 74 has 200mil super badass slag skag lvl 74-75 has 200mil, it doesnt change much till the assassins

I could be wrong, but I think I noticed a difference in some areas using level 61 versions of guns on my xbox. Ofc, It could just be more happening genrally in UVHM. You're probably right.

Overleveling applies to UVHM itself. Not exclusive to Digistruct.

My guess would be that all the items he had in his inventory were quest rewards and other things added directly to your inventory. Enough playthroughs and quests done, and he could theoretically add unlimited items to his inventory. The downside would be that he'd be unable to pick anything up...ever.

it's going up to 72 with a new DLC out Tuesday. you stop gaining skill points after 72 but can get 'overpower levels' and loot to 80. you need to have bought the UVHM pack to go to 72 if I've heard correctly. technically this gives you '+11' levels so if you're capped at 50 now you'll go to 61.

If you can over level yourself, couldn't you just get to 80 and complete the quest on UVHM since it scales with you? I'm not sure how the overleveling with equipment works exactly.

The level 80 stats look like level 61 stats with one more digit. And the level 72 stats look like level 50 stats with just one more digit. I actually have to say thank you gearbox, these numbers worked out perfectly!

So Overleveling in Borderlands 2 I believe is exclusive to Digistruct Peak, so only that arena will have the level 80 enemies (which I will get buttf*cked by so it won't be fun at all). The max level is 72. Overleveling just refers to the enemies being overleveled so you get level 80 gear. Any level 80 gear can be equipped by a level 72 (I think that is how it works...) Digistruct Peak is still very confusing. Until it is released, I have no idea how the system will work :(

That love thumper cannot be right. At 61 the hide of terra is +250K roid and the LT is +150K and now at lvl 80 the hide is +2 million and the LT is +400K.

I fully support modding if it's not used to gain ascendancy over other players in PvP. This guy seems to be The Borderlands Guru on KZbin, and his mods are very entertaining sometimes. Have you seen the one where he faces an army of Wilhelms, or eight Vermivorous at once? Disgaea principle. Disgaea is a fairly flashy JRPG but is best known for the fact that you can do literally billions of damage in the game. I don't really care that my weapon has effectively not gained at all because SCREW THE FUCKING RULES I HAVE A ROCKET LAUNCHER WITH 20 MILLION BASE DAMAGE. Also, you can still take these bad suckers to a lower-level mode and get the old Blast Master Brick feel in your system.

Why? The damage has nothing to do with console freezes. There's people with modded GPD to have 9,000,000% damage from their badass ranks and they don't freeze their consoles with the damage. It's about how much shit is happening at once, not the damage of the weapon.
