I love copper. Will never turn my back on it. All motors have copper, so if a box fan, vacuum cleaner, microwave, whatever goes bad. Instead of throwing it away, take out the copper, aluminum, steel, silver and gold pieces and just stash them neatly for the rest of your life. Or until you get enough to sell.

Do copper pennies & copper wire. Lately the copper price is up & down quite a bit. I also stack alittle silver & go. I'm also a fellow Michigander.

I don't have a problem with anyone stacking or collecting any of the four monetary metals (i.e. Gold, Silver, Nickel, and Copper). Having said that, only two of the monetary metals have a significant enough Wealth Storage Density Capacity (WSDC) to warrant actually actively stacking them, and that's Gold & Silver. If you're going to keep Nickel and/or Copper then you should do it passively by keeping Copper pennies, American Nickels, Canadian quarters, nickels, and dimes of specific years from the 1960s into the 1990s. I have hundreds of pounds of Copper in that form, and I have a few hundred Copper rounds that I've picked up over the years. Most of the time, it was just as an attempt to spend all of my money in a transaction, but I agree with you. Don't stack the lower level monetary metals actively. Just do it passively, as a way to diversify your stack and give yourself additional options in the future. Keep stacking!

I’ve got $7 FV 100% Nickel Canadian Quarters and Dimes. Didn’t go looking for them, just found them while going through my “Canadian Change Pile” looking for silver.

Those look beautiful. I got a bar 5 yrs ago and it corroded. I put one now in capsule to see if it corrodes the same when enclosed. Those 1oz Lincoln cents and trump round look good
