Stereotypes can be hurtful and most often times completely untrue, yet they are upheld through misrepresentations in modern mainstream media, and in today's new video we're going to see what Americans really think about the rest of the world. We should note this isn't what the majority of Americans believe, but these are the common held beliefs about the rest of the world, mostly held by people who've never left their living room.
NOTE: None of these opinions are shared by The Infographics Show. This is simply a compilation of most common stereotypes.

As a Canadian with German and Japanese ancestry, I can definitely say that we are very heavily stereotyped. Can also confirm that most Americans cannot tell the many Asian peoples apart. My dad is sometimes referred to as “China man” when he is half Japanese and does not have a non western accent. Actually we don't know the true origins of the Spanish Flu. The first recorded case of the Spanish Flu was in America, but we already knew that It was a thing before it was recorded. One Source says that it came from China, but even that isn't reliable. There's only one thing we know for Sure and that's that the Spanish Flu didn't come from Spain. Most people that lived during the Spanish Flu knew that it didn't come from Spain. The reason why it was called the Spanish flu was because Spain didn't participate in WW1 and this flu was jokingly Spains way to participate in WW1. Most Americans don't blame Asia for Covid. Even the Americans that you think that do believes that comes from Asia don't actually blame Asia. Infact, they blame the CCP for causing it in a lab. Just recently there's actually been an international investigation into the origins of Covid and they are suspecting that it could be the CCP's fault. Of course that's just speculation atm. Poli-Fact has undebunked their own debunking that it was the CCP's fault for Covid happening world wide due to this investigation that is going on. We might know the truth whether or not it was the CCP's fault or not. If it's not the CCP's fault for making it in a lab then this investigation should put an end to that.

It's institutionalized into our education system. Schools don't teach us much about other countries' cultures, and insinuate that it's not particularly valuable to learn. We get about triple the emphasis on US history than we do about the rest of the world combined. We spend months of school learning the dates and minor battles and the names of minor political figures in American events, and they completely skip over major events overseas. I didnt even know South African apartheid was a thing until after high school; it was just not covered nor were we incentived to learn. A lot of our population's lack of awareness of other countries is because we are taught that this mindset is normal as children.
