@@pseudosadistic5957 Doing alone is definitely doable. I should know, my first hunt was successful, and I did all of it solo. Fyi, hunting the beasts is like a multi-stage quest. Once you face one and start battling it, it'll eventually run away. After that, you track it again, fight it again, it runs away again, rinse and repeat. Fortunately, the damage you deal to the beast is still applied the next time you meet it again, so you just have to keep at it after a few bouts. In my case, IIRC, I managed to beat the bear shape in about 3 or 4 fights, and I did it all in the BZ, starting right next to the portal towns and I ended it 3 zones away from it, was constantly anxious and on the look-out for other players and had to retreat when someone comes close-by. Fun stuff, lol

Dude fr this game is in a fucking death spiral at this point. I'm a solo who is semi new to the game and due to the complete lack of viable solo content and the pisspoor optimization im seriously considering quitting the game. It's physically impossible for me to do any group content due to the fact going anywhere near a big fight or seeing another player trigger a attack all but crashes my game with lag. They need to stop trying to deepthroat the ganker trash and "I'll fuck your mom!!!" Trolls and start focusing on the fact no new players are going to stay past a week.

@@Pirate-nb3jw yeah but here's my counter argument to that, EVERYONE starts as a solo. Very few new players come into the game with a guild invite already lined up. And as the old blood leaves the game for whatever reason new players need to be there to fill the gap. But with most all guilds forcing players to farm millions of fame to even be eligible and even then likely refusing them anyway, the game NEEDS better solo content to let new players learn and earn enough to be willing to risk going all in on a guild. With the 3 day cooldown on guild changes and the fact any guild willing to allow a new player to join likely not helping with gear replacement or repair or as what happened to me personally being invited to several dead guilds with 100+ members with only like 13 that still play the game. It's really not worth it to join a guild and then with no training or build advice, get taxed for everything you do to earn silver or forced to do mandatory ZvZ or BZ content. It's better to run solo content to learn the game and earn the silver for build experimenting, and let's be honest we solos aren't asking for them to rewrite the whole fucking game here. We are asking that the VERY few solo activities get a buff so that they are actually able to sustain a solo playstyle. And any game of this style can't OVER cater to the guilds and PvPers unless they want to turn off a huge number of the new players that bail in a week or less because of the nerfed to shit solo content. Especially when the fact one of the biggest draws the game has is the player driven market, crafting systems, and resource gathering. All passive solo content based around life skills. And Solo dungeons are there to help new players have a static environment to learn how skills work, what playstyle they want to go for, how armor affects work, you know the stuff that translates to build crafting and all that good shit. But they have nerfed this into a major silver deficit due to a new player dying and earning far less than even their armor repair costs. At this point the risk reward they love to sing about is not adding up. Like I said we aren't asking them to change the whole game we are asking for a little content equality so that it is possible to make a profit off doing solo content without literally risking everything we have for like 10.000 silver when we can make that fighting for mobs in a blue zone overworld spot. But if you have a counter to this I'm genuinely interested to hear it. I am heavily sleep deprived and willing to get into a debate In the youtube comments section.
