I have believed for the longest time that Jesus was born in Sept./Oct. Timing the 7th month biblically. When we do a little math, we can see that 9 months prior to 7th month is the 10th month, which is December. That would of been his conception time with Mery & the Holy Spirit coming down to her. December is also the celebration of lights (Jesus is our light) Hanukkah. It makes a lot more sense. Hanukkah also has to do with oil, which represents the Holy Spirit

Very interesting and informative. While she did state that the Magi came to the house (not stable) where Jesus was by Dec 20, the Bible seems to indicate that the house would've been back in Nazareth, not Bethlehem. Luke 2 tells that after Jesus was presented at the temple in Jerusalem for his dedication on his 8th day, then the family went back to Nazareth (v39) ... ie they did not remain in Bethlehem. However, according to Lev 12, Mary's purification would've required 33 days more, so it is possible that they remained in Judea for the 40 days ... but it's 84 days from Sept 27th to Dec 20 ...
