It's so difficult to judge a rank. I haven't touched SC2 for 3 years and then logged in to play in new season. I got curious to see whether I can get to bronze by just surrendering. I then proceed to surrender the first second I got to in each of 5 qualifying matches and it threw me in Silver 1. Purely bc apparently my APM when surrendering was higher than my opponent's. I then insta-surrendered in three more games only to remain in Silver 1. I don't think you can get to bronze, perhaps by not moving your mouse at all during games.
