They follow simple concepts that have been VERY profitable. I don’t blame them for their scare tactics or carrot and stick approach. It is working well for them and if the followers like it then who am I to judge? Freedom of religion 😵💫

People use temple worship to shortcut faith in Christ, shortcut repentance, and to make believe they are on the covenant path when they are not. The temple provides an experience of synthetic holiness, but it is not real, it is an illusion. You will know you are on the covenant path when Jesus Christ starts personally talking to you each day. He will tell you where you stand. Until then, the worst mistake you can make is to presume standing with Him which you absolutely do not have. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3jRnIGuiKxjbrc and kzbin.info/www/bejne/hF7Sh5d4fa9jbpY

The temple? A divine fairy tale? More like tales from the crypt. Doing voodoo ordinances for dead spirits, with living members agreeing to act as living voodoo dolls and giving themselves the names of dead people. And pre-1990 temple-goers had the fun and spooky thrill of pantomiming their own grisly executions...by at least two or three methods...as "penalties" they would suffer if they revealed the "secrets" of the temple. And when everyone is dressed up in those bizarre costumes, the women with their faces veiled, standing around an altar chanting...it's just as good as a Hitchcock movie or a nightmarish scene from a Stephen King novel. I'm surprised a bunch of goth teens don't have Mormon Temple visits on their "must do" list. I guess the all-white theme turns them off. If they could just wear "negative" goggles that reverse colors, it would be right up their alley.

It is wonderful being in the Temple to do work for the dead and experience what it would be like to enter God's presence. Handshakes, costumes, voodoo ordinances for the dead (because supposedly spirits can't have ordinances done without bodies, but ordinances done to the bodies of strangers can magically be transferred to the spirits of the dead)....and pre-1990 temple-goers had the thrill of pantomiming their own grisly executions as "penalties" they would suffer if the revealed the secrets of the temple to outsiders. If that's the type of weirdness that the "Celestial Kingdom" is all about, I think I'll be looking for a better spiritual amusement park in the hereafter. I guess I too often make the assumption that viewers have watched my previous videos. The bottom line is that nothing can replace real faith in Christ and complete repentance. Members tend to act like temple worship can replace or shortcut all that. Additionally, supporting leadership that fails to properly teach the gospel, that supports the globalists, and points to themselves is not going to end well. The brethren repeatedly points to themselves and insists on complete conformity to them rather than following personal revelation. This is AntiChrist.

Going to the temple more than once is all about performing religious ordinance work for other people All of the time and money invested by the church and its members is all about other people. No one inside the temple is being paid a nickle to do this work. In fact, they are paying 10% of their income for the honor and privilege. Many members must travel long distances, even out of their countries, in order to find a temple. Temples are not being built just for faithful members, but for untold millions who have never even heard of Jesus Christ. Even if you think this is totally obsurd, worthless, and stupid, at least it's not selfish, self-serving, or stingy. It's just the Christian thing to do.

Living in Utah I am often asked why there are no crosses on LDS church buildings like Christian churches. Instead, they have a pagan statue of a pre-columbian native named Moroni (was Nephi in early church publications) on top of their temples, which is slowly being removed when new temples are built or existing temples renovated. Although, it does resemble the Archangel Gabriel blowing his horn to call the dead out of their graves on Judgement Day.

The most challenging experience I have had in the church to date was reading and then trying to make sense of the statement sent out to the membership that the vaccine was "safe and effective", signed by the first presidency. I haven't fully come to terms with this. The day I read it, I was expecting at any moment the follow-up that would qualify the statement. I am cautious by nature and could only conclude that either they got it wrong or they made the statement under duress. That somehow the mission of the church and freedom of religion, in general, was weighed in the balance and yielding to secular demands was the lesser of two evils. The church has also seemingly supported the mainstream 911 story, so in the space of secular narrative maintenance, it seems the church is willing to support state propaganda when the alternative would be a distraction. I guess I am ok with that when it comes down to it; trying to correct every secular error presented would be substantial mission creep and would likely interfere with the greater mission of the church. I also find it interesting that KZbin funnels this content to me and my kids and not faith-supporting content. It's what I've come to expect.

Terry, I think one of the biggest lies we have been sold as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that the Quorum of the 12 and First presidency are prophets, seers and revelators by virtue of their calling. Not since Joseph Smith has there been a special witness, prophet, seer and revelator. Think of the revelations that have been cannonized since Joseph Smith, they are all relatively innert and often reverse bad policies put in place by men claiming they recieved a revelation from God, when they really didnt. Brigham Young never claimed to be a "prophet". He considered himself a "yankee guesser". Subsequent Presidents of the church have been honest from time to time about their revelations. They are not so distinquishable from revelations and spiritual experiences that the average member might have. I dont know how we got so badly tricked, but I think its time we put these ridiculous practice of "prophet worship" to bed. We can still respect and sustain the presidents of the church, while at the same time realizing that they arent speaking for God.
