I think Brady was brought in for QB development. If I'm Deion I don't want my son going to the Raiders. The Raiders have only drafted and developed two successful QB's in their entire history and they were 50 years apart. Having Brady changes view and hopefully that history.

When Al davis was with us, the number one thing that would get a coach fired immediately was poor clock management. GMs do the drafting. JMD and Gruden was some @$$ backwards stuff or we'd have drafted CJ Stroud like JMDs GM wanted to do. Telesco has the final say on roster personnel. He didn't draft a QB and brought in Minshew for 25million. Because GMs acquire and set the SALARIES for players. Telesco DRAFTED 2 OL and a TE essentially a OL that can catch. That's telling you that he's in rebuild mode. Let go of 2 top players, JJ and Devante along with their salaries. Now we got Hella cap space. If Telesco doesn't draft a QB this draft. Then everything I'm saying is B.S. and IDK wtf he doing. However you BUILD successful NFL teams from the inside out. DLine was GREAT at the time of the draft. Until Koonce got hurt for the season. Now our Dline is back to only Maxx bringing pressure. We know how that looks, pedestrian at best. I trust the process as long as it looks like a winning formula. 3 of the top picks are starting, JPJ, Glaze, and Bowers. Inside out for the future, it looks promising with those 3 picks. Sometimes, you have to take a step back to take 2 steps forward. As soon as we didn't acquire a STARTING caliber QB. I knew it was tank season. I knew it's also a season to evaluate the last regimes players. See who stays amd who goes as Telesco builds AP a team in his image. This is a process that takes 2 to 3 years to complete. We have one of the youngest teams However one of the least penalized. With most penalties coming from rookies. Which is normal growing pains. With all the injuries, especially DLine, Defense is still ranked #11. Defense which is AP side of the ball. Has gave us a chance to win damn near every week. Including against the chiefs. Offense is Killing us However it was to be expected with these 2 weak @$$ QBs.

@ I think we all understood we need qb, we have for a long time. I agree with your points on GM and think TT did a great job in his first draft. However, is AP bringing the defense or PG? Is AP helping offense? Why is his guy in Jack Jones playing with worse effort (he put his reputation on the line for him)? He needs have a hold on the entire team and the entire team should grow. Fact that he keeps getsy calling plays when the whole league knows it’s bad is a knock on AP. The fact AP says running is our identity or wants it to be so he FORCES running just to do it is a knock on AP. His game situational coaching is so bad to clock management, to down 8 kicking field goals, to not challenging, to running at the end of the half. Everyone says he is a “Dan Campbell” guy. No, Dan Campbell wasn’t this bad when it came to playing aggressive and smart football. I wanted AP but this year is different year when the pressure is on him to get things right. I appreciate your response because it was well thought out and I know we both want the raiders to win. But NFL is a business where winning needs to be now. We don’t have time for AP to maybe or maybe not figure it out. I don’t want to fire him yet, but what he has showed is regression. Last note, if we want a qb do you trust a guy who doesn’t have control of offense to develop him the right way? Only way you bring a in a great OC is make them a head coach or maybe get LUCKY finding someone who is a great mind not in that role already (again a guy who is unproven and risky).

When will you franchise podcasters start calling a spade a spade and confront AP on his inability to accept responsibility for the teams performance, instead of is penchant for blaming it on everybody else other than HIMSELF? He doesn't know what he's doing, he hasn't shown any interest in learning the offense or managing it, he's seemingly only seen fit to be the figure head during game day's, meaning he provides no input for the defense or offense, he doesn't even hold a play board, his mic is constantly in the UP position and the teams performance reflects the ineptitude of AP as the Raiders Head Coach. This is the issue for both Getsy and AP. If you watch this Oline perform and questionable RB's how can anyone with a fair mind evaluate either of them. Then your QB is a turnover machine. I truly believe there are plays called that Gardner Minshew is NOT EXECUTING!! I'm not at all saying keep Getsy I'm simply saying he has no tools for the job. I don't know if we can say what kind OC Getsy is, look at what he's working with! WE as fans judge based on what we know which is almost nothing. We don't know what plays are called and who failed on what play. All fans do is say what's popular and makes sense to them. And they are rarely right.
