About cars and public transportation.... You might not need a car if you live in Brussels, but that's not necessarily true elsewhere. I live in the Ardennes, a very rural, mountaineous area (the closest city, Liège, is 70 kms away) and you do need a car here. This being said, as an ex-city dweller, I chose to live here, so no complaint; I have plenty of space, lots of nature and greenery, large forests for hiking, almost zero criminality, and the borders with Luxembourg and Germany are only a 20/30-minute drive away. Very different from Brussels.

Hi Satish, you know what? You asked such a great question - because so many people vegetarian people are not aware of this! Yes Belgian fries have animal fat (lard) in it that gives it a particular taste, texture & smell. But, there are many shops that give fries that is made with vegetable oil - you just need to ask them before buying. State clearly-"Do you use vegetable oil or oil with animal fat" . Hope you are enjoying your stay in Brussels!

1. Job for you- It will not be very challenging, just keep your resume updated and brush up on your past work and experience. Once you arrive here, you can find lots of opportunities with dedication. 2. flat- signing of contract will happen only when you arrive here. So use this time to book appointments with owners/agencies. Initial 2 weeks stay in company accommodation if they provide any.
