Isn't investing in government bonds or psu bonds similar to national savings certificate or Monthly income scheme of post office. Sir I think only difference is that we can sell the bond if it is having higher price where as we can't sell post office mis or nsc. Apart from that I didn't see any difference. More over, if there is unsecured bond, we are risking the principle.
