Bonus share ek misleading term hai.. bonus issues karke aur ye baar baar bol rahe hain ke bina koi paise liye.... are bhai bonus issue ke baad us share ka price bhi to same proposition mein kam ho jayega...to kaisa bonus???

Poor explanation. The only good thing i could get out of this is that EPS is halved and company has confidence that it'll bring it back to the original value. You've mentioned that it's a way company rewards its long term share holders. I don't get it. How? Shares increased but price decreased. So how is it a reward? Also, you didn't the cover the most important aspect of it, taxes and cost of acquisition.

@@ravindarsingh3002 I listen carefully..that's why I objected the example she gave using pizza...here in share market bonus share doesn't add any extra value even in long term...even if Co. Have not given this so called bonus share you would get same amount of dividend, price appreciation return. If we are not getting anything extra why it is called bonus..if someone making video in this topic he/she should also consider this misunderstanding in detail otherwise she/he doesn'tknow about this..on bonus news people are running behind stock thinking that extra bonus share will increase the value in portfolio sorry if it Hurts you
