Does running a 6 display monitor like in trading put loads to the CPU? If Im running 6 display monitor, do I need an external Gpu to my laptop? because when I open 6 display my laptop gets hot, but I dont know which part of my laptop is the most getting hit by high temperature, is it the cpu or gpu? please advice

If u can use animation to explain what is core, that will be helpful. I'm lousy in computers, and i saw another video in KZbin explaining what core was using animations, and i understood it straight away. Nonetheless, thanks for this video.

If a processor is 2.7ghz with 10 cores does it mean each core runs at 2.7ghz at the same time?
@harigovind4723 Жыл бұрын
No actually, each processor can run upto a maximum of 2.7 GHz, which is dependent upon the workload and power requirements. For lower load it utilises only some of the cores which can run at 2.7GHz and while in heavy load situations, it may distribute the workload within the 10 cores which will lower the clock speed to maintain thermal and power efficiency.

at a physical level, are these cores actually physically separate, like little processor houses all sat in a row, or is it a rats nest of semiconductors all on top of each other?

@flish62644 жыл бұрын
Just plug it in with an HDMI cable usually comes with the monitor, you can also turn off the laptops screen in display settings to make it so that the laptop can be closed and run just like a pc

First thank you so much!!! It helped to understand a lot more than what I have researched from the big channels. My question is, if e.g. you have 4 cores does that mean that the Gigs are being allocated equally to each core? And if only 1 core is being used say for gaming, will the one core being used get all of the speed offered by the CPU? Or will the speed still be allocated to the 4 cores dispute 3 not being used. :)
@drewbarkman9323 жыл бұрын
My question too, like when you have a ton of Chrome tabs open, are they all going to the same core or are other cores getting some?
@squarelime12 жыл бұрын
Isn't clock speed usually measured in GHz, not MHz? Also, I wouldn't think this, but when talking about threads, are you saying how many threads it has per core or in the entire CPU? Very useful video otherwise.

You can measure in both GHZ and MHZ because they could be converted. If you have a low end arm CPU board with 600MHZ you would use that metric but if you have a normal desktop CPU you would say 4GHZ. GHZ is used for bigger numbers and MHZ is used for lower numbers.
