I just love how Robert says «Scriabin etude» and plays it as easy as brushing his teeth. Thank you for this video!

Complete adult novice here and I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your lesson videos, Robert has a kind and welcoming demeanor and is obviously very knowledgeable. Thanks for producing these 👍

THANKS for noting of Burgmuller and Heller. Those IMHO are some real nice etudes with difficulty that's attainable.

Thankyou so much for sharing! That was very informative. And your technique on the instrument is absolutely flawless! As a guitar player, I always lobe following piano players and horn players for inspiration. You guys rock! I wrote this little etude today. Hope you enjoy! @

Very good video. I started playing the piano when i was 7years old and when i was 8years old i was starting to play classical piano. I had an Aunt who used to come to my house and i had to play the piano for her and all she did was criticise my piano playing. She had a degree in music and if my piano playing was good enough for my instructor it was good enough for me. Finally when i was 13years old i just had enough of my aunt so i quit playing the piano. What a jerk i was. I should have kept playing the piano and just told her i didn't play the piano anymore. Well, I'm 70 years old now and i plan to retire next year and when i do i'm going to take piano lessons and start playing the piano again.

Richard Turner You can do it! I came back to the piano about 2 years ago after about a fifty year break. All those years on the piano when you were young will stand you in good stead. You will see! But I would say, don’t wait! Make a beginning now even while working. You will fill your heart and life with love and joy right now, and will not regret it!

I'm a true beginner. I recently decided to go through czerny's op599 etudes and I am enjoying the music. Afterwards I will move on to Bergmuller.

I’ve just binge watched about 30 of your videos. This piano has (at least among your recordings) the best sound all around. Can you tell me what you did different (microphone placing, equipment, room acoustics...)?
