What are Expungement and Record Sealing in Ohio?

I was told when i pled to my F3 Robbery in 2015 that it was a non violent distinguishment and that this would eventually be eligible to be sealed one day. Was I lied to? Is there any circumstance I can have this charge sealed? This is the only charge I've ever had
