@@12388696 not really, it's all about women. If you didn't know they experience all the world's problems. Men? Uhmm, Well, yeah, I guess, I suppose, now that I think about it, men perhaps maybe could potentially experience negative stuff as well, IDk. I find it funny that women have it so good in France that they can openly criticize men on camera (the man-hating feminist branding all men mysoginistic and whatnot, and many of them saying they're rude and come on strong etc etc, without batting an eye), but men feel compelled to only say good things about the women and never complain about any aspect of them (eg not one of them said anything about eg french women being too stubborn, too antagonistic and assertive, too fixated with idea of feminism and liberation, too promiscuous etc etc), probably because they know they'd be subject to hate all over the internet were they to say something openly critical, let alone, vitriolic, like the mysandrist early in the video did without a second thought

J'ai bien aimé la phrase du monsieur qui dit que l'élégance réduite la femme à son apparence et non à son caractère et que ça n'est pas cool. J'ai suis étrangère et j'habite en France et j'ai déjà écouté quelques fois pour un homme français que je ne suis pas "élégante" comme les Françaises et que je dois changer. Merci pour votre réponse :) Oui, je suis d'accord mais je pense que le problème réside sur le mot aussi, "elegance" n'est pas simple de définir. Et même quand on pense en comportement "élégance" peut-être ne rire pas beaucoup ou être toujours calme, qui sont des choses que pour moi sont des caractéristiques de la personne. Donc être naturel et extravertie deviens signe de "non-elegance". Genre il y a quelques années fumer c'était élégant en France (et ça y est encore pour quelques personnes). Bref, je pense que c'est un débat difficile 🙈🙈🙈

I think Parisian women are definitely different than women from outside Paris. That's one quibble I had with one of my favorite "bubble bath reading" books, Entre Nous by Debra Ollivier. It's very entertaining, but she made a LOT of generalizations based on a very small, upper-middle-class selection of Parisian women she met. Same thing with the book Bringing Up Bébé. Lots of interesting observations - based on a small selection of a certain class of Parisian women.

Feminist hating on men and male stereotypes is very much part of political correctness. Political correctness specifically enables attacking one group while forbidding it of the other. Men on the other hand, are a welcome target, so it's the easy thing to do , and even encourged, both for women to complain about their shortcomings and for men themselves to be self-effacing and critical, which is encouraged and welcomed and applauded by the public, as can be easily seen in the media and on the internet

One thing I learned at 5:04 is that "dating" is "les sorties" in French. In English, "sorties" are military actions where brave soldiers go ahead of their main force to see if the enemy is ahead and to see if everything is safe for them to proceed. LOL. Interesting how that one word describes very similar things. ;)

"les sorties" is not dating. It's everything you do outside to have fun. "Nous sommes sorties au restaurant" "nous sommes sorties au parc, au musée, au cinéma...". But "sortir avec quelqu'un" can mean that you are in a relation with that person. It also has a classic meaning, so it may be necessary to be more clear (unless you want to be asked "vous êtes ensembles?")

Pour moi, la femme* française a un style extrêmement reconnaissable: elle aime l'élégance discrète, le chic, bohème chic ou casual chic. Elle est moderne et intemporelle. Sans en faire des tonnes, elle prend soin d'elle et elle peut faire tourner des têtes. Elle a le sens de l'esthétique, et elle aime relever, accentuer ce qui est beau chez elle, sans se dénaturer... Un maquillage à la française sera par exemple, une touche de rouge à lèvres et de mascara, ou un maquillage des yeux travaillé avec juste du baume à lèvres, et un peu de blush peut-être pour se donner bonne mine, mais dans son essence, pas de lourdes transformations... Le contouring et les tonnes de fond de teint sont pour moi une nouveauté dans le paysage visuel français... Parce que je pense à une 'beauté sans effort', un naturel relatif mais implicite quand je pense à la femme française (: ! * L'ado- et l'adulescente françaises peuvent adopter certaines des habitudes de la femme française, mais en 2021, elles semblent promptes à suivre les tendances Instagram, et je trouve qu'elles perdent un peu de cette identité si particulière, qu'elles retrouveront peut-être un peu plus tard, une fois l'obsession du 'IN' passée, qui sait !

Alors moi qui habite en Suisse je peux vous dire que si vous aviez enregistré cette vidéo en Suisse, vous auriez reçu plein de différents avis en fonction de la région linguistique. Les femmes en Suisse française et italienne portent des fringues plus particulièrement à la mode que les femmes en Suisse allemande, qui négligent malgré tout quand même un peu leur apparence.
