According to some sources one IPP company is providing electricity @ Rs 750 per unit while at the same time we also hear that Hydel power can still be produced @ One Rupee per unit. Sir you know cause and effect phenomena. It was the great negligence of the military govt in 1977 that did not took the initiative to build Kalabagh Dam, Bahasha dam etc. If these dams were built on time we wouldt need to ask IPPs to build oil and gas-based power plants. Coal-based power plants were not suitable at the present site and that's are functioning on imported coal.

Dr. sb. Your analysis is that of a lay man based on just hearsay. The contracts were perfectly right. 60% capacity payment is perfectly normal incentive and all over the world the prices are fixed in dollar terms not in local currency. Even if you are given an opportunity you would also demand the same. It was assumed that once the industrial zones of CPEC are completed then the the transfer of industry will take place rapidly and so the electricity demand go up and all plants will run at 100% capacity rather many more plants will be needed but due to establishment regime change operations it could not happen and now you are suffering. It is shame that electricity demand in Pakistan is so low. Even much smaller countries have many times demand than Pakistan but in Pakistan unfortunately regime change operations have destroyed this beautiful country. Unfortunately either nobody in Pakistan understands this or perhaps intentionally do'nt want to talk about the real problem of this great country.

Our cruel government and bureaucracy have no empathy for the Pakistani public and they have no intention to bring a change and believe me they will maintain the status quo. As far as owners of the IPPs are concerned 90 percent are sitting in the assembly and senate and establishment. The remaining are Chinese investors.

Government should not break contracts with IPPs , however Government should impose Climate Tax on IPPs , if there is any irregularity in invoicing by IPP . Government should fine IPPs heavily . IPPs can never fight Climate tax in international courts . Problem is Pakistan-China relations might suffer. Facebook/Google cannot work in China because of security concerns . TikTok getting Ban in USA.

بھاٸی صاحب۔۔ IPPs کے ساتھ کۓ گۓ معاہدے معاہدے ملکی بقاء کے لۓ بریچ کریں یا renew کریں پوری دنیا میں جہاں حکمران مخلص اور محبٍ وطن ہوں وہاں معاہدے بریچ بھی ہوتے رہتے ہیں اور renew بھی زیادہ زیادہ کیا ھوگا یہ کمنیز عالمی عدالت میں جاٸیں گی مقدمہ لڑیں گی اس عرصے میں ھم ان ناسوروں کو دیۓ جانے والا بھتہ محفوظ کرلیں گے اکانومی مضبوط ھوچکی ھوگی۔۔ عالمی عدالت جو فیصلہ یا جرمانہ کرے گی ھم اپیل میں جاکر مزید ٹاٸم گزار سکتے ہیں اور اس دوران جو لیگل ٹیکنیکل نقاط ھیں مثلا ان کمپنیوں کی استعدادٍ کار جتنی ھے کیا انہوں نے بجلی ٹرانسمیشن کے لۓ اس مقدار کی لاٸینیں انسٹال کیں وغیرہ وغیرہ لیکن بدقسمتی سے ھمارا کوٸ بھی حکمران کنویں سے کتا نکالنا نہیں چاہتا کیونکہ اسے عوام سے نہیں صرف حکمرانی سے لگاٶ ھے
