My young brothers and sisters please hang in there I know it's tough I'm an older college student and I know exactly how you are feeling. I graduate in December with my As started my new college only for school to be interupted I'm sad too I wanted to walk for my graduation this June but that has been taken from me. I worked so hard to get to this point for my mother to see me complete this chapter in my life it means the world and now that has been taken from me due to powers we cannot control. But I want everyone to know something every student young or old don't let this pandemic take away your pride take away everything you work so hard for . It does completely suck that these rites of passage like prom and field trips as well as graduation have been taken from us but just know that your hard work has paid off you did it you have won maybe you don't have the physical events to showcase that. But your works everything you did in your life and academic career shows that you are a warrior !!!!!!!!! You have won.please continue my brothers and sisters to be encouraged. This is a small portion of you life there will be a moment of celebration I promise you. Hang in there.

Thanks so much for getting the voice of the youth. I was searching specifically for a KZbin video of our teens sharing their feelings about the crisis. We've shared this video on all of our social media pages. We appreciate you remembering that the youth are an integral part of our community and their opinions, feelings, prospectives on life is just as valid as the adult population. I would love to see more interviews with youth on various topics.

I pray for all these young men at this school and all young people who are seniors. I am hoping. They can maybe push the graduations or actives back to The end of July. This is devastating but I hope they know this was only the beginning of a new path for them. I hope they they are all attending college especially out of state to get a new experience.

Great podcast as always. I loved hearing their perspectives on with what's going on right now and how it's impacting their future . I'm truly sad hearing the young man wearing your brand lost a friend to suicide 💛 I was thinking about Kalief Browder earlier this morning who also completed suicide at the age of 22 . Sending love and light to his family and friends 💫 I hope everyone takes this time to clear their minds , bond with family and not panic over something we have no control over .

Vocational schools are more important than anything now. At one point We was Master builders, plumbers, electricians, mechanics ect.... hopefully this is a eye-opener for the black community. With a click of a button all of our technology will be over. Within the pass 20 years we have mastered how to set on our ass on a computer.🤔 it’s time for the old crackheads (50s plus) to give back to the community and train our young men and women. The best electrician, drywall, Plumber Carpenters ect...... became a crackhead in the 80’s. It’s y’all time to redeem yourself✌🏾✊🏾

Worldwide... son daughter I understand what you’re feeling 🤔 now understand from a adult my job has closed and your mother we just have our noise above water and the land lord don’t give a fuck about us and if this doesn’t change we are going to be homeless and the unemployment check is not enough to pay everything..... so I ask you adult man to young man how important is it for you to walk across the stage and prom ????
@mannydv79934 жыл бұрын
John Perry I blame the older generation and I’m now of age where I’m the blame as well. If we were more independent this stuff wouldn’t happen. Malcom X and countless others told us do for self and warned us about letting them educate us. “Let me issue a nation money and I care not who makes the laws” (Nathan Rothschild). Now do you see how we chose slavery? It’s time to wake up young and old.
@cincybest4 жыл бұрын
John Perry You're asking children to worry about shit that they shouldn't have to. Prom is VERY important to these children. If we as adults were doing OUR job properly then they wouldn't have to concern themselves with things that are OUR responsibilities. We keep leaving these youngins with a more fucking up world year after year and generation after generation. It's like we're moving backwards and not forwards.
@cincybest4 жыл бұрын
@@mannydv7993 Yeah I agree with you , we keep pass the buck on instead of clean up the mess that we've made. It's not easy being child in this world and you couldn't pay me to be one again.
