Here's some additional hidden info. When you know someone will retire and get a regen and you're before going to the next season you can save the game. Then go to the next season, check the regen. If you're not happy with the name/appearance or most importantly, weak foot and skill moves stars, you can load back the save and go to the next season again. Each time a new regen is being generated so you can customize (randomly)

A lot of glitched pregens this year, makes the game cool. Found a Muci pregen w 91+ potential and a Cape Verdean CB who was 86 rated when u first found him. Found a few very good Australians this year too

I am pretty sure it is possible for random players to just show up for example: in my save I signed a 74 overall Bolivian striker with 90 potential from the MLS. When I tried to find his regen/pregen I put in his birthday and nothing showed up.

thing is, I can't stand it when a pregen or regen player looks stupid . maybe its just me but I will only sign generated players if they look somewhat normal. otherwise it ruins the feel of the game especially if youre going for a realistic career

Coaching staff and tactics, players roles, make sure you train your players and development plan. I play with 433 attack set my cam on playmaker development and it works, you can set each one of them on different development plan
