there is a way which makes everything clear . the regular moveable line indicates average price between selling price and buying price. so, go to chart settings and enable bid and ask lines. and then it appears three lines, one the regular line, one selling price line and one buying price line.

This was by far the most helpful video I've seen. That said, It would have been very helpful for you to demonstrate an actual trade factoring in the spread. Many KZbin's will discuss theories and use pictures, but kind of fall short of a full demonstration about their point.

I've been trading 3 yrs now and experienced everything you mentioned in this video. I made adjustments without really knowing the 'why' of it. Meaning when I scalp or trade on lower timeframes I don't use sl or tp because I'm watching the trade. But on higher time frames and when I'm swinging I use both. I did this because I would say the broker is playing with the spreads. But you just explained the why of it. Thanks bro!

Thanks. Coming from trading options, then demo trading forex, I didn't know why my TP didn't fill. I asked for help and was told it was because of the spread. Now taking some time to understand the concept better. This pretty much told me everything I needed to know for it to make sense. And yes, I made my entry and tp on the 5 min time frame... so, yeah. exactly what you described. (I even went to sleep to wake up to the trade hitting my tp. lol)
