The only one I see any disagreement with would be Sentinel's on armor, some folks like that one for maximizing their tankiness even on low HP builds. Granted I don't use it, I use 5x Arms Keeper's, but I could see 10-15k for Sentinel's, maybe more due to the sheer legendary mod cost to craft.

I find Unyielding Sentinel set and my Vamp 40% PA 40% less while PA is a beast to just wading in on bosses. Lots of damage and very tanky.

Acrobat's, I have it on 2 pieces and never take damage from a fall or with a jetpack. Even jumping from a cliff. It's basically 100% reduced fall damage. I found myself weirdly dying a lot from trying to scale down a cliff or trying to land in the jetpack even with just one mod. After the second one, everything is good. Great video!

Don't sleep on Belted, it counts for ALL ammo types freeing up two perk cards in Strength and Science, AND it counts for fusion cores (useful if you're a power armour user or someone who uses the gatling laser). I've been chasing the crafting recipe/mod boxes since the update, no luck so far (been able to get almost everything else though, figures...)

With how the endurance perks have been reworked I think the +2E for armor is more sought after now, especially if your high endurance and you have natural resistance perk card the boost from the +2E on armor pieces will give a greater boost to poison fire radiation and cryo resistance fire all in one perk with the +2E boosting it even further.

Excellent Vlog, I scrapped 22 weapons with explosive and got 5 explosive box mods back. I have now got my Enclave Plasma rifle Anti armour, Explosive. Laser Anti Armour, Explosive rife. Plasma caster Quad, Explosive. All with Durability added to the 3. Got 2 explosive box mods left . Keep up the great work 👍👍👍

Why would somebody not want a vampires? Of course not on a main weapon, but having a rapid fire or shotgun (or both) sideweapon with vampires is a great way to never die and don't have to care about stimpaking. I have a vampires laser gun shotgun and in many cases it serves as my main weapon with mobs, if there are enough other players present. It tags widely and heals me in the process.

As a everyday player that lives within the cap/building limits I don't care about the cost/sale prices for these mods. My only concern is acquiring them & using them. This is only a game, a quest to an end, not a actual business enterprise. It's entertainment & challenge so is this really a video about the mod rankings? You're a "Bloody Build" primarily, I play "Full Health" so your viewpoint is max XP & level-up, I enjoy the grind & find aspect of 76. With a 40,000 cap limit, selling/buying a "Mod" for 10,000-20,000 caps is pointless. I intend to buy all the serum plans to create & sell in my vendor cheaply, staying behind after everyone leaves a nuke event to harvest ingredients until the radiation subsides to create stable flux. Following the crafting menu, I create all the food buffs that benefit carnivores & would do the same for herbivores if I were to play bloody. There's more to this game than just level-up. When this game first launched with all of its glitches, bugs, & frustrations I walked away for that first year & waited for them to repair this monstrosity. If any of the JUNK they sell in the Atomic Shop doesn't have functionality I have no time or patience for it, period. "Skins" should include some type of benefit or slight buff instead of just being cosmetic & a Bethesda cash grab. So how about a MOD menu for each class of armor, power armor, & weapon to maximize the effectiveness of each?

Oh man! All the mods I want to buy you are telling people to charge 10-20K caps 🙂 Hunters is a pretty good effect, especially if you are not a Bloodied build. It works across a wide range of animals including the larger ones like Scorchbeast, Yao Guai, Deathclaw, Angler, Mirelurk Queen, Grafton Monster, Wendigo, and is a straight up 50% damage buff with no strings attached. Just don't pull it out against Earl or a Behemoth. I bought a Hunters mod for 1K caps and replaced Ghoul Slayers on my Fixer. Best 1K caps ever spent! I use the Fixer to cripple the Scorchbeasts wing, and the damage buff was immediately noticeable.

The only part I disagree with is Acrobats in that it’s great and it’s most definitely working! I can attest as a SS jetpack user I love my two pieces with acrobats on them, it allows me to fly with no fear of death, and not have to worry about timing landings/boosting the jetpack at the right time and or losing health from a fall.

You were wrong about thru hikers- you got it partially confused with what doctors does (it isnt a weight reduction, its a healing boost), but thru hikers reduces weight of food, drink, AND chems. Its basically the travelling pharmacy and thru hikers perk cards combined. Having a hard time deciding between AK and TH as a result! Great video though, and thanks for all you do for the community!

Sentinel is buggy at the moment. If it works it works well, but when it doesn't you take a lot more damage than you would normally. The net result is you would be better off using anything else instead. This is easy to test if you have a friend shoot you in PvP and monitor how much damage you take. The best option would be that it gets fixed because when it's working properly it's very good.

Got really lucky with my draws first one was quad crafting then vats enhanced and vats optimized after I got some more random ones. Usually just trade them for other mods but I guess they are quite valuable caps wise. Funny part it's not useful for my current build running an aa exp gauss minigun and full overeater t65. I don't get why so many people sleep on Acrobat's, sure it's not the OP option but for QOL equipping two of them and being able to jump off of absolutely anything without caring about the fall damage is great. My plan is two fall damage pieces and three arms keeper with a few perk points to take care of the remaining wwr.

I know it seems like a waste to use that 5th WWR mod, but check your numbers and you will see that you need it. It makes more than the 10% difference you think you’re getting. It’s significant. I had 5 on SS and tried to get away with only 4 on my Union PA. My weight was very different until I put that 5th WWR on.

hitman is often good for heavy weapons that you wanna use to focus fire bosses or specific targets so for example lmg would probably benefit more from hitman as a boss killer than explosive, however explosive will help you tag and distribute damage overall explosive has way more use cases, but for min-max there are moments when hitman trumps explosive

one build that i am doing that is unorthodox is basically i play as a semi bloodied but with full health i have 4 pieces of gear with lucky (+2 luck and 8 luck in total) i have a gun with lucky (15% charge) and i have 15 points SPECIAL luck, WITHOUT the legendary luck card this lets me critical every 2nd shot as i was bloodied , without having to be bloodied on some guns i also have VATS enchanted, for the 50% VATS aim, which is a bit more than the bloodied bonus i do miss out on the bonus damage from nerd rage and the adrenaline bonus, but i am incredibly tanky without having to worry of getting killed from any random shot during say ... armour ignore daily ops, while also doing them outside of power armour ... so the lucky legenday mutation is a bit of a sleeper flex in my opinion

Basher is god tier , it's only good for one weapin but that weapon is likely one of the best ones, also some effects are easier to learn and more ppl will know them easily learned bloodied with 2 characters on day one . Making a mod isn't cheap. Bloodied requires you make a speed demon serum, which takes flux. Then there's a number of legendary modules needed to make the mod, and those cost 100 scrip each. I sell bloodied at 20,000 K because the mats are worth around 15,000 K

I think Junkie's dropped in popularity because over time it's gotten so much easier to hit and stay above the 30k Cap requirement for Aristocrats to hit the same damage amount, and anyone who wants to use a higher raw damage buff is likely to just use Bloodied

Aristocrat's is a 50% damage increase all the time if you're carrying about 30k+ caps, whereas Executioner's only does that at low enemy HP, and Mutant Slayer, Ghoul Slayer, etc. only does it to specific enemy types. Why isn't it valued more highly? Aren't people rolling in caps by endgame? Is the Aristocrat's damage increase not calculated the same way as the others? Or does it still just not hold a candle to Anti-armor and Bloodied?

Because aristocrats is just nothing compared to bloodied or anti armor, hell even quad for end game, it's a handy DMG boost but endgame when your always carrying 30k caps you have better builds that just out perform aristocrats

I'd say do your own testing and come to your own conclusion. For instance in power armor with stabilized perk, anti armor ugl consistently does less damage then aristocrats ugl, with the exception of maybe a few enemies.

Hi All. I want a vampire flamer or a quad railway rifle so I've ran some maths on the various methods for creating these items. What I've found is really awful. What do you think? Anyway, let me explain ... Completing over 100 expeditions will generate plenty of legendary mods and legendary items but the odds of dropping a vampire flamer are about 20/1. Scrapping all the other legendary items doesn't improve the odds much either. I estimate that obtaining the required module or the plan for Vampires is about 14/1. So that's 15 hours spent grinding expeditions just to obtain a 14/1 chance of success. What worked for me was crafting level 50 flamers and adding a random 1 * mod at a workbench. This costs junk (for the short flamer) plus 5 of those legendary mods from the expeditions. However, the odds of adding vampire is much much better. I estimate that running 60 expeditions (instead of 100) will generate enough mods to give you a 50/50 chance of obtaining a vampire flamer. That's about 20 times better than scrapping legendary items from expeditions.

Nearly forgot. Having obtained my 1* vampire flamer I spent another 15 Legendary mods at the workbench and added 2* Vital plus 3* Lucky with one role of the dice. I think these are good picks amongst the 2* and 3* Legendarys.

I can craft Arms Keeper if you want to do a trade (am on PSN under this handle). I think people sleep on Acrobat. As someone with marsupial, a jet pack and doesn't wear power armor, I find falling is the biggest cause of death. This is especially the case on large events with a lot of lag. Two acrobats pieces eliminates that entirely. Also, a lot of the analysis here seems focused on ranged builds. For unarmed/melee, strength mods are top tier and as well as cavalier. It helps greatly when we have to run to enemies to engage them. Try running at firestarters during Eviction Notice.

The important ones are all the ones you cant craft, Quad, unyielding, 2 star strength, weapon and junk weight. If it is not "best in slot" then it is probably junk. People think all weapon weight set armor is good but 1 piece junk carry lets you carry more as things are capped at like 90%.

love your presentation. I learnt a lot. Everyone is doing bloodied. but I want to go vampire or over eater something different. i need help selecting ideal mods and weapon choices.

The Assassin mod is very strong armor mod that is mislead to be exclusive to PVP. Fo76 has added many human enemies in the open world and their more common in Daily Ops and Expeditions.

I sell Quad, Anti Armor, Bloodied, Vampire, Medic's, Overeater, Unyielding mods, all day long, for 12k each. These have paid for continuous max level Blue Ridge Caravans. I don't think it is worth making 3 star or even 2 star mods for sale, the 30 and 60 module cost to make is too expensive for the caps you can get.

I don't agree on crippling. It is great for VATS players - it is not so much about crippling, but making your hits to body parts 50% stronger. If your perception as a VATS player is high enough that you don't need VATS Enhanced on your weapon, Crippling may be your next best choice. Plus, in my opinion, Explosive is overrated - often you would hurt yourself more than the enemy in close counters, and the area effect is not so useful really. It will put cars and fuel puddles on fire, but not reach other enemies. Maybe, if you put in full Demolition expert it may do something, but sacrificing 5 perk points just to get some damage. It see it as quite a niche mod. Would take Crippling any time over it.

I’ve been having zero issues learning mods from scrapping despite not preparing for the update. I do have an issue feeling overwhelmed with all the variables for my under armour, being a bloodied build (SS unyielding obviously) but the remainder 🤯 I only want one set, not a set for this and a set for that 😂This video has been helpful but I’m still requiring some thinking on this muddle. Btw is sentinels broken? Is it not worth the effort to roll it on all my pieces or even a few (I’m referring to my PA for when I ever feel the need to stick it on)😭

Caps are very easy to get. I have no problem paying large amounts of caps for items that I will get a lot of mileage out of.

Caps are easy to come by, that doesn't make trash treasure. I sale my trash mods for 250 and they still don't sale. It all goes to the mall now. 3k for garbage one stars is wild to me. Like selling a trash can plan for 2k.

Arms Keepers can SLAP, I have my walkaround weight down to 44 with a full set of UL SSA; and since it applies to any machined weapon, You can pick up all kinds of things to scrap at Eviction Notice (say).

I learned vats optimized luckily on my first few trys and have sold a few for 27500 it is a lot but from what I've seen people will buy it sometimes just takes a little bit

I’ve crafted and sold 5 unyielding and 5 bloodied mods for 12k each while I worked towards being able to craft overeaters, assassins, and explosive. They sell like hotcakes almost instantly any time I throw them up for anything under 20k. I have no use for them as a non-bloodied player

So why choose the handmade over the railway rifle? I get it you usually want quad for the railway because it has a low ammo capacity and it takes up a legendary slot but the railway does more damage, so why the handmade?

I sell the bloodied for 8k since i know the plan so can make as many as i want. Took me maybe an hour to get the cost of the serum recipe back. I can do the same for vampires so no need to sell for ridiculous amounts

You're sleeping on dissipating. If you're not bloodied it's nice to have at least 1 on your armor, 2 of them is as strong as the "What Rads?" Legendary perk card, and it's nice to not have to use radaways when you're full health. I have 4 Arms Keepers and 1 Dissipating and it's ideal imo

I wanted bloodied, i saw for 10k i gently ask for 7k i get it, i had 7100 caps but i'm happy. One question, if i craft the god tier mod or the very good mod can I ask for the max like 20k for the god one and 10k for very good or should I go for a bit less.

I'm sorry, please don't follow the insane pricing that is being promoted. It's just ludicrous. I sold a bloodied fixer God build for 3k and the same for an anti-armor. I know i could get 15k but i really want people to enjoy the game. You can get what you're asking for but I seriously wouldn't sell it for top price.

don't sleep on sentinels its very good for the fact that you can jump in place and it still counts as standing still combined with overeaters youre basically immortal when you stop moving to shoot at stuff

@@MartinLengal theres a lot of dorky math to it but bolstering increases your damage resistance but when you get over 300 resistance in a stat (ballistic or energy) youre at the point where youre getting diminishing returns. when you use overeaters its flat damage reduction
