Omg thank you for the detailed explanations. I was so scared when I saw the thumbnail thinking I missed Sophie and Plachta. My very first account rolled a triple 3* in the first 10 pull. I got Raze, Odelia, and Oskar. Then my next 10 pull got a second Raze, and Resna. The last 10 pull I scraped together got me Ryza, Ayesha and a random SSR memoria(?).

I wholeheartedly agree that Rorona is deserving of A tier DPS on an actual tierlist. Her damage is just so high with her innate 40% damage buff on 'Angel Spirit' by just existing and having a healer.

1. You get "25 pulls" for rerolling, idk to get other eazy gems (you can buy tickets from shop > bundle and that will convert 1500 gem into 10 pulls, but didnt get token for spark) 2. Thats up to you, rerolling is hard. But, Sophie and Plachta are Limited Character. Thats why is "suggested" to reroll for Sophie. Because you will "eventually" get everyone except Limited Characters. 3. And yes, getting an account with Cornellia, Ryza, and Sophie is really hard... i spend 1 day and decided giveup to Ryza.

I'm wondering why you say Judie doesn't get used much. She's been amazing for helping me get thru several dungeons due to how strong her skill2's auto-evasion is and her base 10% damage reduction. I would even let let some bosses get a burst tile so their all-target attack gets converted to a single-target burst on Judie. I just wish there was a way to item-buff her damage reduction debuff. Though loading her with all-target resistance has been really powerful too.

I’ve only just heard of this game thanks for a friend. I don’t really mess with mobile games and when it comes to the franchise. I’ve only played Sophie and even tho I didn’t beat it. Something about the art style just drags me into the series. I have paid for other games on my switch so eventually I’ll play them and beat Sophie. Once I download this game, I’m gonna aim for Sophie :)

It's fine to do that, and just hope you get her, and accept that if you don't you might have to reset your account. You don't have to save gems forever in this game, as dupes aren't useful, and the pity currency carries over between banners.

I've been wanting to play this game since launch but everyone's telling me to wait to start till Sophie's banner because she comes out quickly and is (as this tier list confirms) so much better then any of the launch characters, your just straight better off waiting for her unless your a whale.

@@tessanoatelier3250 Yes, they added a bit of content like that early on. They stopped pretty quickly (after like two events) because they realized it was bad design. Every other element has content that counters them too, so it's not really that important. This is a team building game, you will need to build around the content, so some characters get better or worse based on the content. That's expected.

Why do you say dupes are bad? In Princess Connect dupes meant memory shards to contribute to making a unit 5*, and doing so changes a character's skill and therefore their meta rating drastically. Does that not happen in Resleriana?

It's a similar system, but you also get the awakening shards from a daily quest at a pretty fast rate. One dupe of a 3* is 3 days of that daily quest for that character (and you can run 5 characters through the quest at a time)

Buy the tickets in the shop for rerolling, then don't spend anything else on the release banner. You want two breakers generally, I would go with Marie+Stera personally but swapping one of them for Corneria is fine!

It's fine to play at the start if you can't wait. But if you really want to reroll for Sophie, then it's best to wait a week until she comes out. We don't know for sure it'll be a week, but that's how the progression went on the JP server, so that's what's being assumed for global launch as well.

More gems in the mail. That said, global launch ended up being a bit different - you can buy tickets in the shop so you get two multis per reroll instead of 1.

Yes, it completely resets your progress. It's up to you whether you want to start and hope you roll Sophie when she comes out, or wait to reroll for her. Either way is fine tbh

You can spark units with medals obtained from gacha, they're permanent and never go away. All limited units are permanently sparkable currently in JP, we don't know if that will be the case on global release but it should happen eventually.

Outside of Corneria, just combat. Most of the gifts (from these units) aren't that useful other than Skill Power and Critical Finish (but like 5-6 chars have Critical Finish so you'll get it at some point)

It's not bad, if they give the same amount of handouts as the JP server gets. Last month (December) I did like 240 gacha pulls on JP, and I hadn't saved at all. Obviously that's not the norm, but you can expect to be pulling a fair amount even as f2p. Most of it is from tickets though, not actual premium currency. Guaranteed premium currency is a bit slow at 870/wk, then whatever comes in events (like 1000 or so?)
