No, no one should have to go through this. This world is unfair and doesn’t let us live up to our true potential. But why are things like this? It started in Eden, when humans took over and caused a collapse here on earth. What was perfect and spotless became dirty and stained. But God didn’t want us to die, God didn’t want our lives to be just this suffering that we go through here on earth. That’s why He gives us a chance at a new life through Jesus, who suffered to give us life. If we accept Him, He saves us from death and takes us to a place without death, crying or sadness. “Later, in one of His teachings, Jesus said to the people: “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you will not stumble in the darkness, but you will have the light of life.” He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Lost my dear cousin to this terrible disease, one month ago today. She was 4 days away from turning 75, & had been diagnosed in early June. She had already been through major health issues, including stage 4 cervical cancer, 17 years ago, which she survived, then years later, she fell off a ladder & was on the floor 14 hours before she was discovered. Sepsis was setting in, but she survived that too. Her body had already been through so much & just couldn't withstand another devastating illness. The Lord knew she had already suffered so much, & called her Home quickly. I miss her every day. xoxo 😢😥

I lost my grandfather at ALS back in 1995. He was in the Army Air Corps during World War 2 so that might be reason as to why. It is also possible that repeated head trauma is a cause. I have seen many former NFL players who have been diagnosed with ALS. So repeated head trauma from war and football. It makes logical sense as the brain controls electrical signals to the rest of the body.

Nor does anyone else in the medical industry that is willing to say. Funny tho, it's literally the only disease that the VA calls 100% service connected with full benefits, no matter where you served, or when as long as it was greater than 2 months. Makes you wonder the connection and that could be either chronic fatigue, or immunizations. I've read about nano partical aluminum crossing the blood-brain barrier causing or contributing to neurodegenerative diseases like ALS Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Guess what the adjuvant used in vaccinations is? Nano particle aluminium. Just a theory.

@@allaboutroofing2 There are very strong leads, but what's sure is it's very difficult to pinpoint a single cause, because of the multitude of processes/pathways involved presumably. It can take years for such cascades to translate into disease. Just like the familial form concerning SOD1, there is a strong relation with aberrant dealing with oxidative stress. There seems to be multiple places where this can go wrong, seen in 1) a study found a difference in copper trace elements among others in teeth pointing at a difference in metabolism (long) before ALS onset 2) another study seemed to find a difference in diet of ALS patients, notably less intake of vegetables containing beta-carotene, another anti-oxidant. Additionally, ALS patients are far more likely to have a type A personality, related to perseverence and physical activity. In there probably lies the connection with army service, considering the great physical stress they may have to endure. Note that even though only 10% is said to be genetic, this doesn't account for gene-environment interactions that are much harder to find. I personally doubt the (confined exposure of) aluminium in a vaccine can by itself cause these diseases. Note you are exposed to trace metals in air from day to day as well, just like your cooking utinsils. There is for sure evidence of toxicity attributing to these diseases, mostly from long term exposure. Especially lead, sometimes found in drinking water, attributes to a whole spectrum of degenerative diseases. And herbicides linked to Parkinson's.

My mom and 3 of her sisters have died of ALS and/or FTD in their 50s and 60s. There's no genetic testing in Finland due to ethical reasons and I have opted out not to find out for myself wether I'm a carrier. At least until there is a proper cure. The common nominator for all these siblings is that they were "worrying loners". People who kept to themselves and were somewhat fragile. I am totally different. I do look like my mom (with my grandmas red pigment = longer telomeres- her mom reached 94 totally healthy) but otherwise I am just like my dad who's family is from the coast. The mixed genes can protect me. My maternal grandparents literally married their neighbours. My maternal grandfather's mother was the initial known case. I eat healthy and keep my loved ones close. I finally decided to have my own baby- partly due to knowing how bad being alone is for you. That is all you can do.🙌🏻🍃

Sorry to hear about your situation, and RIP to those family members who have passed away. I think you have a great mindset, but in my opinion I believe before you have your child you should be genetically tested to make sure you aren’t passing on the gene. You should not put your children at risk and keep this cruel fate from running in your family, it’s not fair on your child and would be somewhat selfish knowing what you know and still choosing to have the child anyway before getting tested. I don’t want to come off as rude and I respect how difficult the decision can be, but you should get in contact with a generic counsellor, if you are planning on having kids.

I did some research and ALS is caused by mitochondrial dysfunction that is caused by exposure to certain pesticides in gardening and agriculture, formaldehyde in diesel/jet fumes, formaldehyde in corpse preservation, pathegons in algal blooms in dirty water. As a result the following professions are higher risk for developping ALS: Professional outdoor sport players, professional gardners, professional pilots and truck drivers professional water skiers, militairy personal; and funeral directors

Stephen Hawing had ALS I'm no doctor nor scientist but I know few stuff, and I think that one of the cause of it is overloading your brain, like thinking more than your brain can handle so one part of the brain gets damaged and that part is the one that controls humans physical functions, I could be wrong cuz it's just a thought. Anyway I'm impressed by the fact that some people can live longer than doctors thought that they would live.
