Sir, can you please explain how do you track goal based investments. Do I need to invest seperately for each goal and maintain the equity to debt ratio. Or I can invest as a common pool for all goals.
@pattufreefincal5 жыл бұрын
You can do both. See my audit video and articles

Hello pattu sir..need to know about post office monthly income. Is it better than fd's. Like monthly income can be used to invest in Sip and ppf based on asset allocation of 40 equity and 60 debt for long term

Pattu Sir. Thank you for your videos. It immensely helps illiterate persons like me. You have mentioned about 2 ways of re-- balancing portfolio. 1) Transfer Equity to Debt according to target allocation % and vice versa 2) Put more money in that class which has not performed well to maintain the allocation %. My query is for 2nd one. Would it not mean that we are missing on the gains earned in one class. I mean booking of profit? If for example we get stellar gains in Equity in one year, instead of transferring the gain from equity to debt, if we re balance by adding more funds in debt, it will sure meet the target allocation but we are also missing gains? Hope I make sense. Sorry for being dumb. Thanks Jeet

Dear Prof. I had a query, how does reducing interest rates affect arbitrage funds? Do the potential returns reduce only due to reducing yield on debt part of the portfolio? Or is there any other reason. Thanks in advance.
@pattufreefincal5 жыл бұрын
No rates but market information flow. It could. I am not worried as tax arbitrage is my focus
