I started my sisterlocks with 18-20 inches. I was not cutting my hair. I was denied by 2 locticians before I found my girl. The install was 36 hours. 1 perk is I can do a lot of styles from day 1

I get mine installed 12-4. Not cutting my hair and I’m 12-14 inches. My quote is high but I want the consultant I’m going to so🤷🏾‍♀️. Super excited! And your hairs is beautiful!

I think the braid and banding process is probably easier and faster with longer sisterlocks.
