India needs to lower igst on imported computer parts. Today, most of things are done using computers. A custom pc is more user oriented than a laptop. But due to igst, Our imported electronics like mobile phones and computers costs more than 30% of its original price. Computer parts like processor and gpu are not produced by indian companies, so there no need to protect them when they dont even make these products. This adds extra burden on technical education such as graphics design.

Apparell GST should be at 5%. If its changed to 12% it will give rise to black economy. Already we have seen similar issue in footwear.

Yes gst is regressive --- realestate flat 1 percnet on affordable housing --- without input credit is so regressive

@@MegaAshfire -- normally u get input credit on mid end or high end flats which is not the case in affordable housing -- so offcourse it is regressive --- rcm ,inverted duty structure -- all this has sucked 13lakhs crores cash flow from business

@@Sheela9999 isn’t this a specific scenario? Afaik other sectors benefitted massively from gst simplification of rates. Also your figure seems overstated given RE prices have skyrocketed . Hell this might control the bubble
