Pastor Doug, You are a God inspired person. I am doing Bible Studies with my youth to prepare them for baptism and this is the third time your Friday Night Answers are right on time! Literally. After I would have a study, and a discussion would start about either alcohol, wearing jewelry or this, true and false prophets, I would assure the person that I will look more into the subject and send them what I find. Next day I receive a notification telling me you just uploaded a video just about this question! How beautiful the Spirit of God leads His people. The error is not having the Old Testament tests met. Numbers 12:6. Their words torment even the church. They speak with power and their words come to pass. The gift of prophecy is not the same as a Prophet. There are prophets of power sent to do things for God, but they are not given a speaking role in the church, like Abraham who was a prophet but was not a speaking prophet.

The prophet should have an unmistakable call of God, and usually has experienced an audible voice, an open vision or more frequent visions of the night and dreams. The prophet will enjoy the process of seeking God and the Presence of God more than what the average person normally persues (money, fame, acceptance, glory, youth, etc.). The prophet could care less about any authority outside of God or any authority that has a semblance of being from God.

And since most of church doesn’t believe the Baptism, they have already blasphemed the Spirit. All the Prophecies of God have been written. Any Prophets come now to enforce the Cross, whether it results in what man sees as good, or destruction to drive the heathen to the Cross. The days are dark. Arise and let your light shine. Wow you're saying what modern day Jehovah's Witnesses have been saying for the last 100+ years. Good info. Still to add on knowing the fruitage by their teachings. If they are true to the word and their teachings, those attending those gatherings to be watered would grow into loving Christians. In other words, if they were truly being taught the truth of God's word, they wouldn't become egotistical, they wouldn't be driven/consumed by bias and hate, racism wouldn't be a mountain for them as they would love one another openly and as themselves. They wouldn't participate in the wars for greed of wealth, they would ultimately reject everything that the world promotes as it is in conflict with God's word. Nor would they judge/condemn those who do not accept God's word as they have come to a realization that HE has given them license to live as they please but will judge them/us according to all we do within these last days. Also they will accept Christ in the role that he plays in God's Kingdom as he himself spent 3 1/2yrs explaining. Thus they wouldn't be walking disorientated or talking confused. JMT

For it's not of just faith He wants of us, but of testing by our fruits, for each day His angels set before us go up to Him and like a scribe, reveal all that was fruitful or rotten upon each day, and these things will be revealed before All. By faith many will be barely saved but Not allowed into His inner court of His Kingdom, but those that ferverantly seek to follow All His laws, feasts, sabbatoths( not just the 7th day which Is sat, for even those of heaven worship Him on those days also, look unto Abraham, Adam n Eve, and even Exodus along side with the so called apocryphile books( other inspired writtings) they Are parallel. The feats were not just for the Jews( Judea), but for any that seek to "Know" Him, And He to know. Just like in scripture speaks of seasons basically being out of whack, the Gregorian calendar is only part of that. For there is only of 364 days for the yr, And the actual leap yr( to which another 30 days is to be added was last yr). Thy Ark of The Covenant is not on earth, lest trouble come by it, hence why Thy Spirit comes to us, Thy Ark is in His heavenly Kingdom, and all will see it with great lightening s and thunders and He also depends to take back what is of His, and All Will see it. The number of verses in Genesis, the first book of the Bible is 1533, in all versions and languages. Matthew 5:18 and Luke 16:17 say that even to the end times, not a single letter of the Hebrew Scriptures will be missing. The verse numbers are right for nearly all versions. Even though no version except the Hebrew ones has all the letters, yet God has it that not a single letter will be missing! Because God is God, he is able to affect the numbers, and that the numbers may have some meaning hidden within, and there may be more information coded between the letters waiting for when people need the information enough and can use the newly invented computers to access the information. What may be told, may show the mistakes of the Human managed Religions. A man called Ivan Panin 1855-1942 found some patterns of 7, yet the main Intelligent Design organisations refuse to show those patterns. This shows that only individuals can find the patterns and that no organisations can, and that it is like the way God stops a Sinner from doing Sin, and that it is not a Priest or something, even if the Priest has an answer to his Prayer for the Sinner. I mention those numbers above as an example, but there is so many more. The most famous number is 2701, but I will let you explore, if you want. 2701=37*73 and 2701+1072[note that 1072 is 2701 reversed]=3773. I think that there is a commonality between 1533, 518, 1617 and 3773. 1533=73*3*2, 518=2*37*7, 1617=7*7*3*11 [The 11 being treated as a Roman II] and 3773=[7^3]*11 [The 11 being treated as a Roman II] In a very old version of Hebrew, the name of God looks like the number 3732, and a shorter word 732, look up the Wiki on the Tetragrammaton. Another well known number is 42, as Jesus was on the Earth ministering for 3 and a half years, which is 3.5*12=42=7*3*2! May God do well against Sin in Jesus...

This video came on time I see more and more young people on KZbin saying that they had dreams and visions from God. Some of them are obviously not prophets as they don't enter in the Biblical criteria you just mentioned, but for others, it is hard to concern. For exemple, there is a guy who has all the criteria you mentioned, but he looks like he doesn't keep the Sabbath and gather his church on Sunday. Can a prophet not be aware of all that is in the Bible? Can prophets learn the truth and change over time? Can prophets unwillingly not obey all of the 10 commandments? I would say no because all of the prophets in the Bible seems to have followed the 10 commandments. But what do you think?

@The Bible DIET It’s not all about going to church on a Saturday it’s about the 7th day Sunday is not in the Bible the 7th can fall anyway of the week the Bible says use the moon for seasons. The MOST HIGH made the world in 7 days man made up the days months, Names I see every day as a new day. I was seeing Saturday as the sabbath but as my faith grew and grew I starting to feel every day as a new day I m now doing my research on how to count the days by the moon. We can worship God any day of the week of course, but God made the Sabbath a special day that we can read about it throughout the Bible, and we will still keep the Sabbath in heaven . Here, after commanding Sabbath observance in verses 12-14, Moses gives the reason the Sabbath was given to the nation Israel: "Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day" (Deuteronomy 5:15). God's intent for giving the Sabbath to Israel was not that they would remember creation, but that they would remember their Egyptian slavery and the Lord's deliverance. Note the requirements for Sabbath-keeping: A person placed under that Sabbath law could not leave his home on the Sabbath (Exodus 16:29), he could not build a fire (Exodus 35:3), and he could not cause anyone else to work (Deuteronomy 5:14). A person breaking the Sabbath law was to be put to death (Exodus 31:15; Numbers 15:32-35). An examination of New Testament passages shows us four important points: 1) Whenever Christ appears in His resurrected form and the day is mentioned, it is always the first day of the week (Matthew 28:1, 9, 10; Mark 16:9;Luke 24:1, 13, 15; John 20:19, 26). 2) The only time the Sabbath is mentioned from Acts through Revelation it is for evangelistic purposes to the Jews and the setting is usually in a synagogue (Acts chapters 13:18). Paul wrote, "to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews" (1 Corinthians 9:20). Paul did not go to the synagogue to fellowship with and edify the saints, but to convict and save the lost. 3) Once Paul states "from now on I will go to the Gentiles" (Acts 18:6), the Sabbath is never again mentioned. And 4) instead of suggesting adherence to the Sabbath day, the remainder of the New Testament implies the opposite (including the one exception to point 3 above, found in Colossians 2:16). Looking more closely at point 4 above will reveal that there is no obligation for the New Testament believer to keep the Sabbath, and will also show that the idea of a Sunday "Christian Sabbath" is also unscriptural. As discussed above, there is one time the Sabbath is mentioned after Paul began to focus on the Gentiles, "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ." (Colossians 2:16-17). The Jewish Sabbath was abolished at the cross where Christ "canceled the written code, with its regulations" (Colossians 2:14). This idea is repeated more than once in the New Testament: "One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord" (Romans 14:5"6a). "But now that you know God " or rather are known by God " how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? You are observing special days and months and seasons and years" (Galatians 4:9-10). But some claim that a mandate by Constantine in A.D. 321 "changed" the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. On what day did the early church meet for worship? Scripture never mentions any Sabbath (Saturday) gatherings by believers for fellowship or worship. However, there are clear passages that mention the first day of the week. For instance, Acts 20:7 states that "on the first day of the week we came together to break bread." In 1 Corinthians 16:2 Paul urges the Corinthian believers "on the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income." Since Paul designates this offering as "service" in 2 Corinthians 9:12, this collection must have been linked with the Sunday worship service of the Christian assembly. Historically Sunday, not Saturday, was the normal meeting day for Christians in the church, and its practice dates back to the first century. The Sabbath was given to Israel, not the church. The Sabbath is still Saturday, not Sunday, and has never been changed. But the Sabbath is part of the Old Testament Law, and Christians are free from the bondage of the Law (Galatians 4:1-26; Romans 6:14). Sabbath keeping is not required of the Christian"be it Saturday or Sunday. We are not obligated to follow the Mosaic Sabbath resting, but are now free to follow the risen Christ' serving. The Apostle Paul said that each individual Christian should decide whether to observe a Sabbath rest, "One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind" (Romans 14:5). We are to worship God every day, not just on Saturday or Sunday.

Why You Need My Name Hi there! To be honest you wrote a very long message and I used to believe as you did until I study the Bible for myself. There are tons of mentions that Jesus and disciples kept the Sabbath. The disciples broke bread everyday almost, the Bible mentions we will keep the Sabbath in heaven, when God created the world on the seventh day, Sabbath means Saturday in many languages (Sabado, Samedi, Shabbat...), there is not a line in the Bible confirming that Hod changed the Sabbath from Saturday to an othe day, Jesus confirmed several times that he didn’t come to change the law but to fulfil it, he says that until heaven and earth pass he law won’t change. Also this the the commandments that is in the middle of the 10 commandments and the only one that God said « Remember » ... he knew Satan would make people forget... you might answer that we don’t have to keep the commandments anymore (which is find nowhere in the Bible) so it would mean that God wont penalize us if we kill, commit adultary, still... this is false teaching that don’t come from the Holy Bible. Plus, the Sabbath is such a blessing, and obeying Gods commandment is joy and it’s for our protection and our own good. We keep his commandments not because we have to, but because we love God (Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments) Jesus have the commandments, as the Bible said He is the word, and He created us. I could go further but I won’t. I didn’t believe in the Sabbath before but once I read the Bible for myself... the right version that well translated from the scriptures (KJV) ... I realized that the Sabbath applies to every single Christians today and that it is such a blessing. I pray that God gives me and you more wisdom to understand his words even more 🙏

There are many false prophets in this world who are liars doing the work of Satan to deceive people and lead them to hell A real prophet according to the scripture is Numbers 12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. And the seriousness of dealing with a real prophet could mean your eternity on whether you believe or not. Acts 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Hello Pastor. Im from California. Thank you for the word of God. I have a concern. What can you advice to me and to this person (he comes to our home, maybe 1x/week) he Who believes that He is a prophet of God, he had dreams. He was formerly under SDA , i say formerly SDA bec. He doesn't want to be under the general conference of SDA. The reason is that - he doesn't want to be taught by pastors , Leaders under GC of SDA. HE believes that what GCs leaders and pastors's teachings are just theories. However, He teaches the doctrine of SDA, bible and ellen G white writings. He encourages the elders of one of the churches in the Philippines to stop reporting and giving money to the conference bec. He was the founder of that church. He said that the conference has not even helped him or given a single penny while He was building that church. He also Encourages me & my family - not to belive the SDA pastors. And call some of the SDA pastors as Evils, not worthy. However, He encourages us to study - read the Bible and Ellen White's writing (which I believe is correct) But my family and I have a lot of doubts on him - bec. 1. He always attacks the General conference's leaders and pastors. 2. Encourages us to Get out of SDA church. He told us that - One time, he invited one of the pastors in LLUC to do a debate with him. But That LLUC pastor refused to. He takes pride from that experience bec. That pastor from LLUC doesn't want to do a debate with him and he believes that the LLUC pastor is not worthy & not carrying the true light bec. He refused the debate. 3. He said, he is Righteous and other pastors under SDA General conferences & who graduated from universities are not living the righteous ways. 4. He reads from the - SDAapostasy.org So please enlighten me Pastor. How do I deal with Him. Thank you and God bless us all.
