How soothing can it be to think that you will have to survive such tribulation? Rev. 14 show the 144,000 being sealed. Why protect them only? According to Batchelor all believers will be protected during the tribulation.... why only seal the 144,000? He can’t answer that either. God bless you guys. I used to be a Post-Trib believer. There’s been too many scriptures that the Holy Spirit showed me that doesn’t jive with this teaching. You’re speaking of “tribulations” which I agree with you that the Church is called to go through. The Great Tribulation is not trials like we have. It is literally the wrath of God. Now here’s just a couple scriptures that made me rethink my position ... Matt 16:18 “I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” Jesus said this about His church. However, during the rise of the Antichrist, the Lord gives permission to him to overcome the Saints. Luke 17:26 “And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood come and destroyed them all.” When Jesus steps foot on the earth, it is not a “business as usual” environment. People are dealing with absolute devastation. It is not a “life is good” scenario. They are dealing with demon hoardes, endless wars, billions of dead people literally laying all around them, and cosmic disturbances. All of it ordained by God Himself. We can have different views. Absolutely. Doesn’t mean neither one of us are saved by our awesome God. But, what bothered me is the assumption that people who don’t believe that we will go through these horrors are “not prepared.” That’s a bold statement, and I won’t go any further on what I really think about that. But let me say this ... being that I believed in the Post-Trib doctrine for many years, I know a lot of people from that camp, as well as a lot of people who are Pre-Trib ... I find that the ones who believe Christ can come at any moment, like the first church believed, are the ones who are not stocking up on food supplies, ammo, etc, rather they are going out and preaching the Gospel. I am by no means saying that Post-Tribs are not evangelizing. But I find that they are focused on being prepared to survive here on earth when we should be making disciples. This is just my personal observation. The last thing ... Matthew 24 seems to be to Israel, does it not? I personally do not have the funds or the access to flea to the mountains from Judaea like Jesus says to do. It seems to me that Jesus is telling the Israeli’s “the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” He goes on to say “this gospel of the kingdom.” Jesus is telling Israel to endure to the end. It is God dealing with His chosen people once again. If He wouldn’t deal with them, then we should all be shaken to the core because that means He does break covenants, which we know is impossible. We as the Church ARE saved by believing in Christ and what He did on the cross. Jesus was telling the disciples all of these things before He even established His church. Anyway, I am on this journey just like everybody here. Let us continue to seek the Truth which can only be found in His Word. Let us all ask the Lord to continue to open our eyes to what He says. He will do it. He will teach us if we will let Him.

Deeply appreciate all you wrote here. Every word. Appreciate your kindness gentleness and yet boldness for Gods word. My position has been very much to stay focused on sharing the Gospel. Sowing watering Laboring watching and praying. As we don’t know the hour but we can know the season we are in. I don’t get in the conversation about the rapture but I definitely study and listen to all side. I appreciate what you said about Christians who are wanting pre trib as I too heard so many get frustrated and even mock those who believe in pre trib. With the studies I have done I lean towards pre trib and it’s like I know in my spirit it is pre trib. I also know I’m surrendered and daily surrender as it is good to take inventory of ourselves and well I just want to live everyday being about our Fathers business and becoming more like Him. That I will decrease and He will increase and He will continue to use me as He wills. I have prayed some bold prayers. That He would prepare me for whatever persecution may come. I hesitate to use the word persecution but there has definitely been much suffering I have endured just from family members alone and I do rejoice in this as I got to know the Love of Christ more deeply and I know His word does not return void. Truly loving others in a way I couldn’t without the Love of Christ ruling and reigning in my heart and understanding this verse more then ever If they hated me they will hate you also a servant isn’t above his master. All these things prepare us. Day and night seeking the Kingdom of Heaven first all things will be added. I truly believe for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose are equipped for every good work. What I’m saying is should any of us have to be martyred God will prepare us for it. If I had to give an answer for what position I take as far as the rapture. Thus far my studies and understanding is pre trib and it’s definitely not because I’m Not ready to die for my Faith. I love Christ so much I want to be prepared for whatever it is He will allow me to go through and I trust He has already. I have already suffered quite a bit in my life. I know suffering that it is only because of Jesus I’m Alive. I Say this to say that I’m not a stranger to suffering. Also thinking about those who have went home to Jesus in death. Who preceded us in death. So many have not been martyred. So it’s not like some requirement that we be martyred to enter Heaven. It’s Jesus finished work on the cross. Believing on Him as a little Child and being born again to see the Kingdom of Heaven. Many have gotten to be in Heaven and not been martyred. We all suffer tribulation in this life. That’s why Jesus said take heart I overcome the world. As Christians we have been enlisted in war. Spiritual war. If we are single heart and mind for Christ Hot and not cold or Lukewarm or distracted from Kingdom work you best believe we are getting demonic attacks in various ways and we continue to fight the good fight never growing weary of doing good. I REJOICE in these sufferings knowing we are a threat to the Kingdom of darkness we are planting watering laboring keeping our minds on things above keeping our mind on souls being about our Fathers business so as long as He has us here.

Wrath of God was poured out in Egypt. Israelites witnessed it. They were removed out of Egypt at the completion of the plagues. They were also protected from the wrath of God there.

The church doesn't go through the tribulation, according to Rev 12:6,14-16...God prepared a place in the wilderness for woman (church) for 1260 days, also God protects the christians there...the same thing Jesus told the Judea to flee to the mountains in Mathew 24:15 before tribulation in verse 21.. Many christians already prepared their places in the wilderness for their families, do the same thing...

Yes. I also believe that the entire human society will face the great Tribulacao...some for good which means salvation...some for destruction... All the Bible information about pass judgments everyone saw God actions. 1- the 10 plagues of Egypt 2- Lot leaving Sodom and Gomorre 3-- Moses and Israelites scape from pharaoh at the red Sea 4- Noah and his family scape from the massive diluve 5- Cristians left Jerusalem in 66 when Cestio Galo surrounded the city... Yes I believe that Matteus chapter 24 inicialy applyes to Jerusalem because that judgment was much needed to bring justice to God,s holy NAME YHVH... Ancient cities had a Big Wall with gates and people in charge close the gates at night for protection and close the gates on Saturday to keep people inside the city to have time to worship in the temple and sinagogs... that's why Christ asking Pray for your exist not happens on the Saturday. But the last part of Christ speech on Matthew chapter 24 applyes with no doubt to our generation... What I feel is that GOD gives so many clues to his rapture. The answers are literally right there. If you read and listen to others accounts of rapture you can tell we still experience some of these trials and tribulations. He says at the last trump , in the twinkling of an eye. I don’t think anyone knows how this is going to go down. Look at how Jesus came into the world. People were expecting some grand conqueror King.. Instead he was a helpless baby, lowly servant and sacrificial lamb. The ‘experts’ of the day couldn’t even recognize prophesy being fulfilled under their nose. What makes anyone think we can predict how the end will come about? My guess is it will be in a way no one could foresee.. I’ve always loved revelations and have studied it a lot. So many views so many can’t agree on tells me that no one knows. What’s important of course is to be ready. Love Jesus with all your heart and mind and soul, treat your neighbor as yourself. Seek his will in your life. Be prepared at any moment/ twinkling of an eye of it could be pre. Be prepared to suffer and be persecuted and maybe even die for your belief in him if it’s post. I’m no where near worthy or ready but I’m trying and pray with his grace I will be. God bless and keep you all.

Understanding Rupture : The is a common belief among many Christians that, suddenly people will be caught away and taken to Heaven. Let's find out from the scripture? 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 King James Version (KJV) 16: For the Lord, himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Paul clearly says that When Jesus comes, the dead will rise first and then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds. I hope you understood by now the living are caught up (taken up to heaven) only when the Christ comes and after the dead are raised. Paul teaches the Thessalonians that when Jesus comes, there will be a resurrection of all saints who have died, then a rapture of all saints together, those raised from the dead and those remaining alive.

But when THEY say peace and safety sudden destruction comes on THEM and THEY shall not escape. See the difference between US and THEM. We are the Children of God, THEY are the world, the unbelievers, the wicked, those that hate Him or ignore Him. Many will come to Him during the tribulation, which is the reason for the Tribulation: a one last chance--if you will--esp for the Jews. THEY are not saved, WE are saved. THEY love not the Truth, WE are saved by the TRUTH. 2 Thessalonians 2:10 God is sending THEM strong delusion, not to His own Children. God requires Justice, but He Loves Mercy (Grace), which is why He sent Christ to die for us, so that we could live. Christ took ALL of our Judgment and punishment, there is no judgment or punishment for us who believe. The Great Tribulation is not for us, it's for those who do not believe. Because if they do not believe in Christ as Lord, their sin remains. They have no redemption and nothing to save them from that hour after the door is shut. This all Basic Gospel stuff. One other important question. Why in Rev 5 when that crowd of people were in front of the throne did John not ask who they were? In Rev 7 there was another group in front of the throne, but John asked who they were? Why? Because he knew who the group was in chapter 5, the church. In chapter 7 we learn that the group there are those who cane out of the great tribulation. In other words, those who became believers in Jesus during the tribulation. People, do not be fooled, read for yourselves. I beg of you, I love you!!: the church is already in heaven in chapter 5. How? Pre trib rapture!!

But after the earth is made new and we will inherit the earth, we will of course be able to live anywhere on the new earth and build homes there. Peace to you Mr. Bachelor. Mr Bachelor I have to say thank you for presenting Jesus Christ to me. It was watching your series that got me out of the darkness of the Jehovah's Witnesses view of Jesus and introduced me to him and the Holy Spirit. I praise you for that but I must challenge your presentation on the rapture. But I partially understand because this is an institutional view. I have since left Adventism (or any Galatian church) and increased my level of faith on Jesus finished work on the Cross for me. This might be a long post but its full of what God has led me to as a more accurate and literal acceptance of the Holy Scriptures. You started at Daniel 12:1-2 and this is also what I used to believe as I was also a believer of replacement theology but now that I am not I can clearly see that "Daniel's people" are not Christians but they are fellow Jewish people. Gabriel specifically said _Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over _*_the sons of your people_* So is it not honest to then skip to 1Thessalonians 4:16-17 and prove this by saying the dead in Christ will rise first. How can that be? Does Daniel know Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior? He's not dead in Christ, he went to Abraham's bosom. Then you continued and mentioned some believe in pre-tribulation rapture, mid-tribulation rapture, and post tribulation rapture.... Guess what? *Thats ALL correct* !! There are exactly three raptures and all three are evidenced in the book of Revelation and the first and last are in Matthew 24. The three harvests of people correspond to the three harvests of ancient Israel, which are Barley harvest which represent the church, wheat harvest which represents the tribulation gentiles, and grape harvest which represents the remnant of Israel. Revelation 7:14 as you mentioned is the wheat harvest. -------- _These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb_ -------- Interesting question, but haven't we already washed our robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb? We already have salvation given to us by the grace of God before this tribulation period started. But God's love is SO great that once the rapture happens and he sets the prophecy clock straight by himself, people who didn't believe the gospel will have the chance to finally have some EVIDENCE that God is real although they will have to get past Satan's lie and be faithful until death for the Lord. In Matthew 24 Jesus does explain the events of the end-times. But again if we are to be honest we see some things here pertaining to Israel. For the Lord said: *_then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains_* and again *_But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath_* Now I'm not going to get into the whole Sabbath debate here but we see a clear reference to people who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. Is anyone watching this video located in Judea? and besides modern-day Galatians the body of Christ doesn't have to fear anything about running for your life on the Sabbath but if you lived in ISRAEL you might because they have traveling restrictions on the Sabbath day. So praying that your flight isn't on the Sabbath if you lived in Israel would make sense if you are Jewish. When Jesus was explaining the events of the end-times he was explaining the time of Jacob's trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) Now this is very important. Christ gave us details on what would happen before the coming of the son of man and I'm going to quote from the New English Bible --- _But as for that day and hour no one knows it not even the angels in heaven except the Father alone. For just like the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be. For in those days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark. _*_And they knew NOTHING_*_ until the flood came and took them all away. It will be the same at the coming of the Son of Man_ -( Matthew 24:36-39 ) --- Does this passage describe a world that is enduring a tribulation that no nation has ever seen? Or does this describe a day like half off specials at Walmart? In Luke's account it says people will be planting and building like in the days of Sodom. Humanity is going on as if nothing is going to happen and today is an exact reflection of Noah's day.... But then Christ says this: --- _Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one left. There will be two women grinding grain with a mill; one will be taken and one left_ -( Matthew 24:40-41 ) --- And there you have it out of nowhere with absolutely NO WARNING one person is taken and the other is left. {If you think taken means to judgement please look up the Greek words paralambano and apheimi as there is no mistake what Christ mean by taken.} This is the first rapture, the age of the gentiles are over and God goes back to Israel's last "seven" (Daniel 9:24) that he owes the nation of Israel. God is not done with Israel for it is written: _So I ask, God has not rejected his people, has he? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew! Do you not know what the scripture says about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel_ ? -( Romans 11:1-2 ) _For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in_ -( Romans 11:25 ) Ungodliness will be removed from Jacob on the sake of the promise God made with Abraham. Israel is blind right now but they will come to realize that Jesus Christ is their Messiah and will in the end say "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord" As a matter of fact God himself went a step further and issued a challenge to all mankind. _The Lord affirms, “The descendants of Israel will not cease forever to be a nation in my sight. That could only happen if the fixed ordering of the heavenly lights were to cease to operate before me_ _The Lord says, *I will not* reject all the descendants of Israel because of all that they have done.That could only happen *if* the heavens above could be measured or the foundations of the earth below could all be explored,” says the Lord_ - Jeremiah 31:35-37 So unless anyone has taken the challenge to take a measuring tape and tell how many square feet the heavens are or if you found those foundations... then you can tell me that the nation of Israel has nothing to do with God's salvation. If you give what belongs to Israel then you can see the rapture of the church but if you cannot because of institutional reasons then you are forced to "Christianize" prophecies such as the man of sin sitting in the temple of God claiming himself to be God when this is a clear literal temple he's talking about. A temple that the Sanhedrin want to be built NOW. Whew that was lengthy but I had to go over much... as anyways even if you don't believe in the pre-tribulation rapture you'll still go in it as long as your walk with the Lord is true. If you are Christs then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise Gal 3:29. So even though Christians are not natural descendants of Abraham, they are counted as heirs because they believe in Christ. They are grafted into the same Olive tree from which Jews who also believe in Jesus form the natural branches. Rom 11. A jew is not one outwardly, but inwardly Rom 2:28-29. There is neither greek or gentile in Christ - all are the same Rom 10:12 Therefore Dan 12 refers to all believers in Christ who shall be saved. Thy people refers to the children of God, whether Jew or Gentile. Remember Daniel was given prophecies that span from Daniels day to the end of the world. Dan 12 is talking about the end of the world which affects all who follow Jesus.

They along with all unbelievers will have to go through the trib. It does not make sense that we are taken up at the end of the trib to then come with Him to earth again for Him to rule. I respect everyone's opinion, but logic tells me that if Jesus told us He was going to prepare a place for us, then that shows us that we would be taken out of this earth in our new bodies as a reward for our faith in Him. That was not done with the first followers because the time was not then, in fact in Daniel we read that what was being said to him was for the end times. God did protect certain people in the bible because it was not their time yet, and not the end, He protected them so they help Him in His plan. Now all things are coming together all at once. We are told to be found worthy to escape all that is coming on this earth, escape means get away from it not stay in it, and be protected. Jesus, could not even save the apostles and those who where killed because of Him, that was because it was not the time of the end, it was not rapture time. We are in the time of the end, we are the once that were told to be ready with the lamps filled with the oil of faith, so when the groom comes for us to take us to His house we are ready. Five were wise the believers were, the other foolish once are those who missed the bridegroom as they had no oil, no faith.

I can see clear that Doug doesn't understand the concept of the Jewish weeding. He probably never really studied the topic but accepted the pre-stablished concepts from his denomination. He is very good in some topics but remember that he wears a denominational glasses. The problem is not the verses he mentioned but the verses that he omitted. Please study "right division"(2 Tim 2:15)...there is a difference between "the gospel of the circumcision" and "the gospel of the UNcircumcision"(Galatians 2:, Acts 18:), and Paul even warns that "we shall be judged according to HIS gospel"(Romans 2:16). And we do not have the 7 last plagues falling on the saved.. We go through them... they plagues fall on the world and the wicked. In Matthew 24:38-39, Jesus says, "For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." Next, notice how "they" are eating, drinking, etc. until the day when Noah entered the ark and "they" were unaware and were swept away. It is NOT the believers and the righteous doing these things. Saved Sinner We won't be here for God's wrath as Paul clearly tells us so in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." However the tribulation is not God's wrath. If that were so, not even the so-called "tribulation SAINTS" would be exposed to it. The believers who will be here during the tribulation also belong to God and are part of his ONE BODY....God did not appoint them to suffer wrath either. He would never put his own body through his own WRATH. Wrath comes after the tribulation and it starts with the 7 bowls which are clearly named as wrath (see Rev 15 & 16). With regards to each of the following principles of interpretation, some scholars subscribe to and use the principle while others either oppose the use of the principle or say they agree with it but then utterly fail to apply the principle in their interpretation of scripture: Some prophecies are conditional - even if no condition is stated. Some promises/prophecies apply to the physical “seed of Abraham” while others apply to Jesus and those people who are “in him” - “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” - Galatians 3:29 Some promises/prophecies have already been fulfilled. Some prophecies may have dual application.

The resurrections are described in Revelation 20: the first resurrection is of all the righteous. The second is of all the unrighteous, 1000 years after the resurrection of the righteous.

In order to figure out when exactly the rapture will take place we have to study the verses about the rapture and we have to ask ourselves a series of questions. Question:When we will be changed? You use " meet in the clouds, and in the air" as "proof", but dont understand what it's really saying. In Hebrews 12:1 it says "we are encompassed by a cloud of witnesses" its talking about a multitude, (like a cloud of locust) not a nebulous cloud. So, you have that wrong. What it IS saying is "we will meet in a great multitude, in the breath of life" (the moment Christs feet touch the ground, and we change in that twinkling of an eye at the 7th Trump, which is the last 1, at the END) Acts 1:11 says Christ will return, in the same manner he left. He left from the Mount of Olives, on the ground, to the air. Nowhere does it say he stops, mid air, takes the "good", then comes back later. I will refer you to Ezekiel chapter 13, a warning against false teachers, and those who "hunt souls to make them fly." In Matthew 24, and 13, it says the Angel's do the gathering, not Christ. II Thessalonians "Let no man decieve you by any means, for that day shall not come until there is a falling away first, and the man of sin revealed, the son of perdition" You people are scriptural acrobats.

@@timorean320, the Greek word translated as “clouds” in 1 Thess 4:17 (νεφέλη G3507) means atmospheric clouds, and it’s sometimes used metaphorically to mean a cloud of sorrows. The root word for this, νέφος G3509, is used in Heb 12:1 and means a mass of clouds, and it’s sometimes used metaphorically to mean a cloud of witnesses or locusts. It’s a grievous sin to swap the word Paul used in 1 Thess 4:17 with the different word he used in Heb 12:1, but a preacher named Arnold Murray swapped these words in order to support his personal doctrine that Paul was describing an allegorical Rapture. And these weren’t the only words that Murray altered in order to promote his unique doctrine. He also swapped a word meaning “air, atmosphere” with a word meaning “breath, spirit". And Ezekiel 13:20 is about occult charms sold to Jews during the Babylonian exile, and God used a metaphor here of how hunters spook birds so they fly into their traps, but God was going to free the souls they hunted. So this has NOTHING to do with the Rapture. You would do well to drop Murray's blatantly false teaching and follow the actual word of God.

They would think I'm painting a city. Ezekiel 13 very much relates to the Rapture. It's a false teaching by where you use "Charms" to decieve people into thinking they will magically "fly away". (Pretty quick google search for commentary on Ezekiel 13 meaning) Who is the Prince, and Lord of the Air? Where, and when did this teaching start? Morgan Edward's? John Darby, and Maggie McDonald in the 1830's? Also, the Mormons deny the Rapture, as do all the major cults and false religions.
