What are the worst stranges in TF2?

To be fair with the Red Tape Recorder, you can instakill buildings if they have just been place. A funny strat is just to bump and decloack in front of the engie holding a building, forcing him to place it down in order to deal with you, thats where the Red Tape comes into play

Though the pomson is worse, the Southern Hospitality is a very poorly designed strange because for whatever reason it ranks up based on melee kills instead of sentry kills unlike literally every other wrench in the game

Unironically, the exact reason I own a strange homewrecker is BECAUSE of its low damage against players. I want each +1 on that weapon to be humiliating to my enemy (and to count sappers destroyed)

The Pomson was the first strange, pro ks, weapon I ever bought. 9 years later it is now worth 4X what I paid for it. It drains spies cloak, drains medic's ubercharge % and most importantly shoots lazers. Hardly the 'worst stranges in tf2':)

A good fix for the Leveling system is to have it so both Comp and Casual drop items, and either game modes drop certain things plus the Contracker gets used more with say, free daily missions that reward with bloodmoney tickets and the Comtracker store has some cool stuff like civ grade strangefiers and unlocked warpaint cases and OLD contract cases. Casual could drop weapons, the current cosmetic and warpaint cases, Mann co crates and munitions crates, scrap metal, weapon and class tokens, and a unique quality hat(normal non tier items and maybe merc grade items) while Comp drops, Several Manno co crates and munitions crates, Normal weapons in strange quality, Current and Old Cosmetics sometimes in strange quality, Warpaint and Contract cases, civ grade to merc grade warpaints and skins, civ grade strangefiers, Refined metal, weapon and class tokens, weapons item specific strangefiers and unique quality hats of the pre tier era that can drop in strange quality, Tiered hats with merc grade hats dropping and occasionally getting a strange quality hats with a 2% chance. Of course make it so you cannot trade it for a week if that is something people concern themselves with. Those proposed item drops would drop on EXP Pip and EXP bar fill up, so you have some use over filling the EXP bar. Combine this change to the Casual and Competitive with the Prestige system, so filling up the EXP bar pips and EXP level bar has use as well as the Comtracker change to give Daily Contracts to complete. This would give people more reason to play both Casual and Comp as well as get Bloodmoney from the Daily Contracts to spend in the Comtracker store.

Personally I think that the mantreads are harder to level up than the bison. Soldiers are going to use the mantreads to help with rocket jump mobility and occasionally get kills but most people using the mantreads probably also have the market gardener equipped and are killing with that.

I initially thought the Amputator would be considered the Medic's worst strange, considering how it has a lower damage output than the Bonesaw. However, it does have the novelty of attaching a Healing Done part and tracking how much you can contribute to your team by placing a drinking bird over your taunt key.

na man you got it wrong, the strange collectors bison is the best strange weapon in the game. having red text while having a million kills is the biggest flex you can have.

I traded for cheap strange stuff. The Red tape recorder was a cheap item. that said, how can it be improved? Maybe give a speed boost of the "when sapping a building, you get 3 second speed boost" sort of deal. that way the regression is good. or maybe "when sapping building, you gain speed boosting when undisguised" as a upside? something like this for the RTR would be good.

@@drivanradosivic1357 I think a simpler change would be to have the rtr damage the building on top of the deconstruction, maybe half as much damage as the regular sapper? That way when the engie knocks off the sapper theyve both got to reupgrade it and heal off some damage. I'd make it so the rtr would stop damaging the building when it got to low enough health though, to make sure the whole deconstruction animation takes place

@@paevepailbrack6899 so, the Speed boost stat. That was from Fisonastick's custom servers that give some weapon and class tweaks. RTR gets a 3 second speed boost on sapper placement. Spy gets Spy speed(press special attack button to walk normally), fake reloads and sappers can be used to reveal foes. My core class change idea for the Spy is to give him a passive I call Spy Tech Ballistic weave: plus 20% damage resistance on a butterknife or backstab kill for 3 seconds. This Passive allows Spy to survive more on a fight and can of course combo with the many knife unlocks.

I would argue no weapons are bad to have in strange quality (except all sniper rifles) because A. you get massive respect for having a big number on a terrible weapon B. strange weapons that aren't popular are dirt cheap and C. most of the bad strange weapons are hard to succeed with so you get more skill from using them. You can get a strange professional killstreak sandman for like 3 dollars, and I got my strange pro killstreak bison for 47 cents. I have 2000 kills on my sandman so far, and I do get a lot of credit for it. It's just my opinion, but I really don't think any strange weapon can truly be bad.

fun thing about the righteous bison though is its one of the few weapons in the game that can be 2 qualitys simultainously. i happen to have and use a strange genuine righteous bison

I know this isn't the actual criteria you used to define worst stranges, but I personally hate strange spycicle, for one simple reason, despite it's primary use being to prevent afterburn and reduce fire dmg, strange spycicle doesn't have a unique stat tracked being "fires survived" and you can't even install existing fires survived part on spycicle. It's not like Vakve doesn't know how to do it or don't want to, they gave loose canon it's own unique stat being tracked, double donks alongside kills. Why couldn't strange spycicle be same? Or fan of wat could track how many marks you left etc Also

I like using a shield with the caber since a crit can oneshot an heavy if it doesnt break though the caber doesnt benefit from minicrits.

Hey this was quite a fun video to watch! You want to check your game settings though. The way you play looks like you are lagging a lot. Like delay between mouse movement and screen showing it. I'm not saying that to be mean, it just looks really similar to how I used to play before I got the config stuff figured out properly for my limited PC. Mastercomfig is a pretty reputable config thing that does it all for you.

Someone that doesn't say that the syringe guns are bad? Now that's some respect gained. On the Medic part, while I don't consider his needle guns bad, I'd say the worst strange for Medic would be the Overdose, I'm not saying the Overdose is a bad weapon, far from being one, but since it has a -15% damage penalty that means killing people with it is harder. People say that the downside is negligible but overtime it adds up and sometimes you would've needed that extra bit of damage the default Syringe Gun provides.

I have a bit of a soft spot for the blutsauger, way too much fun to use in a casual setting I dont have too much time used on the overdose but the upside of more speed is always a plus especially on the second fastest class in the game

I have a soft spot too but for the stock Syringe Gun, I currently own a strange professional killstreak one and has around 750 kills and I slapped the Damage Dealt strange part to it.

unsure if it even has a strange version, but im absolutely sure the short circuit is the worse engie strange than the pomson. sure the pomson is the worse weapon overall, but its at least made to shoot bad guys. the short circuits ammo is your metal, its primary fire is pathetic and has a short range, and its secondary fire, while very useful for clearing projectiles, also deals so little damage they forgot to give it a kill icon.

I think you're in a sense missing the point with the fan o' war and the homewrecker. On their own without any strange parts they're awful, yes, but since strange weapons also count other stats through parts you can mainly focus on those parts as the "main" counter for the weapon and mostly ignore the kill counter.

I’d argue that the Dead Ringer is a worse strange for spy than the Red Tape Recorder. Sure, it’s harder to level up the Red Tape Recorder, but the concept of announcing to the whole server when your Strange Dead Ringer levels up kinda defeats the whole (intended) purpose of the weapon
