My good guess is that Stevie was secretly a bigamist and was married to both Billy's mum and Teddy's mum. That could explain why Teddy ask him why he said that he was conceived from a fling, which wouldn't make any sense considering Teddy has Stevie's last name (unless he changed it afterwards).

Bricktop still the boss of London, Alan Ford is about the only reason to watch Eastenders now. Eastenders is so shit now though full of plastic "hardmen", one-dimensional boring people and eccentric freaks in unrealistic and ridiculous shock storylines of murder, violence, tragedy,etc that happens in a frequency greater than the whole of Honduras. It used to be about average Eastend Londoners in the 80s/90s and had likeable, believable or compelling characters played by good actors and it had a script and storylines that made it enjoyable to watch.
