Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I am recently really interested in slavic traditions and magick. I grew up in East Germany near the polish and czech border, with the sorbents (a slavic minority) around in our region. There have been some slavic influences. My grandmother used to tell me so many folk tales from my region when I was a kid, which I now realize have there origins in slavic mythology and traditions. I also grew up with slavic fairy tales. I feel there is so much profound and ancient knowledge. Thank you both for introducing the Motanka Dolls and your own personal experience with them. Such a wonderful tradition, which I want to learn more about. I also feel it is a beautiful gift for a newborn and for kids which have trouble sleeping. So many different ideas how to use and bless and work with these dolls. Thank you both for sharing your knowledge.

I am a norse shamanka living in Scandinavia. I recently got a Motanka doll as a gift from a very special person who lives in Ukraine. He said he was sure I would love this gift. I have just been following my instincts with this doll, and I love her so much. This video taught me a lot, and also showed me my instincts were right. I take her to bed with me, I talk to her, I sit with her in my arms, and I feel so much energy in her little body. But since he was the first one to handle the doll before she ever came to me, he even slept with her in his bed, I wonder if she has attached to him. With the war going on, I know he is going through a lot of stress, and I feel the motanka changes energy and "mood" quite often.

Thank you for this special interview with Madame Pamita. My favorite part was hearing the personal stories of working with these scared dolls. When I experience high anxiety, it can be too difficult for me to focus on doing a shamanic journey for personal healing. Having a home for a compassionate & loving ancestor in a soft doll sounds so wonderful to have! I deeply appreciate the wisdom and loving energy you both have to share. 🙏💖

I love this. Thank you both. It is very hard to find proper education on ancient Ukrainian folk magic, spiritual and healing practices. I appreciate that you are making this accessible to all.
