One of my favourite movies as a teenager was "The Craft". I used to watch "Charmed" twice a day, every day. I was a super fan. When I was a school nurse a couple of years ago I had a student burst into my office very quickly, close the door behind her, sit in the chair next to my desk, the whole time looking down and said to me that she had a teacher that was making her very angry and she needed to talk to me about what she was going to do to her. She then looked up at me and jumped out of the chair and said I can’t talk to you and ran out of my office as fast as she could. I had to send the principal after her because I thought she was dangerous. I’m quite sure she was fully possessed. Her eyes were very dark. It was scary, but I realized that I’m pretty sure whatever was inside of her didn’t like what was inside of me. It was very scary. I was a new nurse to this school at the time and found out later that this girl was part of a group of girls that were “dabbling in the dark arts”. This stuff is no joke.

Oh my goodness. The Craft was one of mine & my ex best friend's favorite movies to watch as teenagers. I can relate on so many levels with what she is saying. We played the Ouiji board, loved horror movies, I used to identify as a white (good) witch, we slept in cemeteries, listened to dark music, worshipped idols, we wore satanic clothing & jewelry, etc. I just had my first deliverance & began manifesting a spirit of witchcraft. I screamed at the women who were doing my deliverance. My voice changed, my eyes got HUGE, my face contorted, my head shook from side to side. ENTER tainment. Key word, ENTER!!! Once when I was a kid I went to a birthday party and they got out a Ouija board. I remember feeling super uncomfortable. My Mom raised me Christian and was my primary source for spiritual matters but she had never talked to me specifically about Ouija boards - I can’t imagine she would think I would ever run into one. I doubt she had ever seen one. I was a very shy person but I managed to voice my discomfort and, while they still played with it, I left the room until they were finished. I was able to overcome peer pressure and my own curiosity. To this day I am astounded that I knew not to play with things like that. I know without a doubt it was the Holy Spirit. I was out by myself a couple of weeks ago and this woman randomly came up to me and started trying to read me and inform of someone that I'm connected to whose dead was trying to speak to me and she kept trying to give me descriptions but everytime I would tell her no, so eventually she said if I could give her my keys so she could "connect", I was willfully reaching in my pocket to give this woman my keys but this guy whom I met earlier he walked over and pulled my arm and said "No, don't do it". We raised 5 daughters to know the Lord Jesus . We taught them about the occult to stay away from it . Growing up, I loved Sabrina the teenage witch, Charmed (the 90s version) and even the Craft (the first version), the movie she discussed. I'm so glad that my mother was a strong Christian who knew about the occult and was able to pray me out of that before I began to dabble in it, praise God. I too got sucked into this hellish nightmare of what many unknowingly, and to their utter damnation, call "Christian Wicca".... it ended up being an infinitely downward spiraling vortex into what I know now are darker and darker practices. It was when I began really trying to connect with "my guides" that the Holy Spirit (though I didn't know that then) revealed to me just how far "south" I had really traveled. I fell into a very empty, dark depression for about 4 days and then had a lightbulb moment. I began to wonder.... If all of this (occult/magic) were real, and this darkness and emptiness we're its "fruits", perhaps the God of the Bible, His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.... The One, True & Living God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob.... Then I asked myself.... What if it were all true? That terrified me. So I decided to learn, for myself. I picked up my very dusty Bible and began, in earnest, reading. And seeking God with all my heart, soul and mind. Within a few hours, perhaps less, I know now, the Holy Spirit filled me and I've not looked back. That was 3 years ago. It's not gateway drugs I'd worry about... It's gateway "spirituality". I’ve found myself being enchanted by the idea of the accult. How am I wrong? You can’t say you know something without experience with it. I don’t believe I am blinded. I grew up a Christian and I got told that everything is demonic and that I had to fear other religions and preach that mine was the right one. Now I know logically that isn’t true. God is subjective to every person and you god isn’t universal cuz he isn’t universally known. So he can’t be god. If he really cared about saving us, he would make SURE that everyone got the same message and revelation,, but that hasn’t happened. That’s why there are so many different religions. My Native American culture burns sage as an opening for prayer to Creator (God) and was taught to us by a Holy woman, White Buffalo Woman, sent from Creator. Burning sage is used as prayer communication (God sees our smoke and is pleased) and to expel negative energy so that only good energy is present in the practice of prayer. God came to Indigenous peoples too through His different ways and many cultures around the world were taught how to pray through methods a available in their environment that had special meaning. Same goes for the use of animal/taxidermy items used for prayer- they represent the spirit of the animal God created ie an eagle carried messages to God on its wings. Please know that not all sage burners are practicing something dark, we really need to help each other understand the good concepts and the bad but not ‘blanket label’ everything. Misconceptions cause harm through unnecessary attitudes towards things we don’t always understand. Which is why Native Americans were given bad labels for religious practices that were more pure of heart with God than anyone will ever understand. I am a Christian and I also incorporate my native peoples prayer ceremonial traditions. God bless.

I remember watching the first series of the Witcher and having nightmares especially the part where yennefer was getting cured of her physical deformity by a witch... among the ailments were tumors and a hysterectomy which could not be reversed. I remember having a bad dream which included a spiritual spouse and I woke up with an intense feeling of pain in my ovaries. Days later I was admitted in the the hospital and scans showed i had a big inflamed cyst. My gynecologist wanted it removed ASAP but I refused and being a Christian i knew it was a demonic attack. I prayed and fasted because I was scared I would never have children if I was operated on, I had a feeling something would go wrong on the operation table. God healed me without meds or an operation and to this day I hate movies that have witchcraft and magic because they are a channel for demonic attacks(in my opinion anyway) especially the Hollywood movies.
