What are you going to do IF the Philippines gets Nuked?

I was asked to give my opinion on the potential for the Philippines to be hit with a nuclear bomb as part of a larger global war. This is my thoughts, and what I have done to prepare for such an event. Let us hope this never happens.

I would also say the biggest threat of a Nuclear detonation with resulting fallout in the Philippines would be small scale tactical nuclear strikes on the airfields, bases, and carriers. I do not see a scenario where a conventional ICBM is used.

Yeah, especially bases in the north, BUT if tacNukes are used.. its going to GO full nuclear globally would be my guess.

I believe there is a study that says if the US was hit by a nationwide EMP, 95% of the population would be dead within 3 months. This is becsuse so much reliance for infrastructure is based on electricity. Water purificstion and distributions, sewage, food production, hospitals. Overnight, you will be living like the Armish. I think if an EMP hits Manila, you need to get out of dodge within the first 24hrs. However, most of the rural Philippines, it will be not as bad as rural food production and the ability to, 'get on with it,' applies, unlike in, 'Western countries,' that are so dependent on technology and Government Welfare.

Yeah.. the 90 day rule is something I make sure I am ready for. And living out in the province..is good. Another concern that IF ever a nuke goes of in MNL... what if any effect on the volcano?

Manila would not be a target, most likely northern Luzon where all the US bases are being built

I would 'almost' agree.. but at this time, there is nothing there yet. Plans yes.. but no real assets. So.. MNL EMP strike would really really cripple the whole country. Now I do NOT think this will happen, but the one I am more thinking would happen when the whole world goes nuclear.

You forgot North Korea if it goes to war Rocket man most likely will target us bases in the Philippines the F-22's in Manila make a prime target
