The United States is actively working towards neutralizing Russian nuclear missiles. They are actively developing missile defense. They also actively surround Russia with NATO countries in order to be able to neutralize Russian nuclear missiles at the start. You can see how close Ukraine is to Russia's nuclear stockpile. It would be very useful to include Ukraine in NATO. Everything is going according to the plan of the Americans. If everything succeeds, then the Kremlin will have to surrender and give power to the Americans. Just imagine how it will change the ability of the Americans to be able to launch nuclear missiles and deploy anti-missile defenses in Ukraine. Very useful.

This scenario assumes that Russia nuclear forces are sitting ducks and won't launch on warning as soon as they detect a massive attack. As they know they will lose everything after the attack they will launch their counter force and counter value assets against US, forcing US to launch the remaining against Russian population. There is no way this option could not lead to a total exchange.

Hey Joe am going to be testing my new ICBM tomorrow, so when you see a missile launch, just know it's a test and not an attack, the US does the same thing

It seems that they are haunted by the fact that Russia still exists. And they can't finally let go of those thoughts and settle down to just mind their own business. This country lives and let it live like any other. No one is threatened. Putin once said a long time ago that Russia does not require any special place in the sun for itself. Just leave us alone and let us live and develop in peace. All these weapons were created by them, only so that no one decides to attack more, because Russia has experienced many wars in its history, basically you always had to fight off the attackers, rather than attack yourself. But as we see, judging at least from this video, such plans exist. It would be hellishly interesting to see what would be the expected Russian response to a nuclear attack, how long would they last detecting and answering a nuclear strike. Once I read that back in the days of Boris Yeltsin a rocket with a satellite launched from somewhere in the Scandinavian Peninsula was shortly mistaken for a missile. That was the most recent time the world was seriously in peril of being destroyed for a mistake (and that was ironically during the worst years of Russian post Communism crisis).
