When you have mobility at qb, the thought process is that you don’t need that top tier oline since qb can buy time with legs

The major difference with Jayden and all the other QB's drafted here in the 1st round that you listed is that all of the others were drafted under the Dan Synder ownership and Jayden is under the new ownership group and that is huge in my opinion.

For my 2 cents: With this new coach, coaching staff, draft picks, players and game plan, my hope for this first season is that at least we should be able to put up a team that beats team we are supposed to beat, and if we lose, it's to teams that are better and we still play well enough for a chance to win. but I'm not buying playoff tickets just yet.

Well when Joe Burrows came out of LSU he was looked at as the next Tom Brady. Jayden comes out of LSU,does better than Joe, and there's a lot of what ifs

We can't do any worse than Howell last season so its an instant upgrade. That will add at minimum 3 wins to last seasns total. Thats the absolute worse case scenario also.

Man it’s so funny because when Sam was named I was convinced he wouldn’t be worse than Wentz, Heinicke, and Howell combined…. He kinda was lmao

@@50centaintenoughx33 the baffling part is I couldn't believe they decided to start Howell after his preseason games because he looked horrendous. That decision makes sense only when you factor in them tanking for a high draft pick. Otherwise Howell should've sat behind Brissett for at least a year. Jaden doesn't have anywhere close to that many early hang ups so we should have an immediately better offense.

You can't just blame him when have a oc that calls the same running play up the middle and calls 90 pass plays a game and oh the oline was trash.

@@mickee06 that's all been disprovef and shown to be Howell having a sever lack from a football IQ standpoint. That's why Jaden is getting the praise he is because it's all of the work and his understanding of the game that is on the forefront right now. Howell was just terrible or else he wouldve thrived in that Bienemy offense which is one of the most Qb friendly offenses there is. He had Gibson and Robinson as safety blankets and couldn't find his checkdown to save his life.

This is how sports radio works. The Commanders Organization overhaul is still the biggest sport news in the DMV, even though there is not much new news out there so they got to talk about stuff we already know. They need to get paid for content, even if its old. Also, there is always a chance that there is someone out there that has not heard this info, and they get a chance to call in and comment. In a month and a half, this will all be over and they'll have new info to give us. Enjoy the quiet while you can. 🙂
