For me it’s gotta be the entire Old Republic continuity. That’s some of my favorite Star Wars content in general. Not only is the gameplay fun and the fantasy of creating your own Star Wars character a good time, but most of all it’s how you get to look at an in depth look and critique of the Star Wars premise. The way it takes a deep dive into the Force and really gets you to think about the concepts like the Dark Side and Light Side and what that ultimately means not only to the greater Galaxy, but to the individual.

The best Kyle Katarn story. 2) Rebel Assault 2. So friggin good. Fantastic story as well. 3) Shadows of the Empire. Everyone remembers the first time they played the Battle of Hoth. 4) All three SNES Star Wars games. These three were all INSANELY hard. I would love to see you guys stream beating these three monsters. I consider it to be a huge accomplishment that I did. Lol 5) KOTOR. I still play this through. It will never get old.

Well they kind of gave Kyle's identity to Andor, even gave him a girl that almost had the same name as his, and then blew both of them up. so.. Kyle's whole deal was that he stole the plans to the death star. They were REALLY stupid with that movie. They put together a couple of actors that had amazing chemistry. Imagine keeping them around and sending them off to missions for the rebellion and later against the imperial remnant, just like Kyle and Jan Ors... they would have had a show and several movies right there. But nope. Instead they did less than stellar stuff for a while. They really didn't know what they had sometimes...

Jedi Outcast for me too, its the only game where once you start levelling up your character, you start to really feel like a Jedi, well until Fallen Order, but the lightsaber combat in Jedi Outcast is still unmatched so many years later. The three different stances you could use, I think I used the defencive one, and each of the three stances had a different one hit kill move, and each one was different in that they have different ranges, some were more telegraphed that others, I think I remember one where you had to crouch and sit still and let the enemy attach and you stand and strike upwards, and you unleash an epic uppercut but it was very easy to see coming. I hope another game in the future gives us another Star Wars game with lightsaber fighting mechanics as good or better than this.

I'm very glad and fortunate I got to grow up with many of the early 2000's Star Wars games on PS2, and see it evolve to what they are today. I don't necessarily have a numbered list, but here goes: - Star Wars Battlefront II (2005), I've spent hundreds of hours on this game over the years, and it never once gets old for me. One of my favorite games of all time - Star Wars Empire at War, primarily for the incredible modding community, another game I've spent over 150 hours on - Star Wars The Phantom Menace, despite being quite challenging in some spots, it also adds such a fun element (especially in the Mos Espa levels, with side missions and plenty to see) - Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, a fantastic telling of a fantastic movie, with great missions, moments, and level design. I was always a fan of getting to kill the Separatist council - Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jeci Outcast, just an unbelievably fun time with great combat that really pushed the series forward from being like Doom to being like Half Life (at least that was my takeaway from it) Honorable Mentions: - Republic Commando - Jedi Academy - Jedi Starfighter - Battlefront II (2017) - Star Wars The Force Unleashed (Side-note: there are too many dang good Star Wars games out there. As I was writing this, I'd suddenly remember a game I'm shocked I forgot. That time period of games was unparalleled. A golden age, if you will)

I agree with a lot on the lists, surprisingly Aaron's was pretty close to mine. Weirdly enough my original Xbox somehow became my Star Wars console since I have like... 7 or 8 SW games for it. Here's some of my picks in no particular order: Squadrons: Just yes, this was the space combat sim we needed. Love how it throws back to the X-Wing, Tie Fighter & Wing Commander DOS games that I spent countless hours playing as a kid on my 486. It's also got some Elite:Dangerous vibes to it with the PIP management system & physics. Fallen Order: What's not to like? Star Wars Metroid Dark Souls. This game was fantastic and I'm glad it was allowed to exist as is, and got a sequel. OG Battlefront 2: I spent so many hours on this back in the day, so much fun with friends in co-op. One of the games I have for the og xbox. Jedi Outcast / Jedi Academy: I still remember back on the last day of summer in like 01 right before I started my sophomore year of HS playing this game well into the night on my PC. I think Academy could be the stronger game potentially, but I have stronger ties to Outcast. I currently have both on the og xbox. I guess you could include Dark Forces 1 & 2 as honorable mentions like the X-wing/Tie games since I was heavy in the PC shooter genre at that time. Rogue Squadron / Rogue Leader: I had RS on the PC as well, quite a fun time. I currently only have RL on the GC and it was equally as fun but a lot better looking. Honorables: Knights of the Old Republic: Never beat it but got decently far in it. It just didn't quite capture my attention like other RPGs did, probably because of the dev. I still have KotoR & KotoR 2 on xbox. Force Unleashed: Nothing tops that iconic scene pulling the Star Destroyer out of the sky with the force, especially on like a 60-70 inch or larger projector which was when I first saw it at my buddy's. I didn't get it for a few years after release but I had fun, it's just a bit goofy for me. That's about it for what immediately comes to mind as truly enjoyable SW game experiences I've had.

I loved Phantom Menace on the PS1, more for inputting cheats and turning to the dark side and taking out anyone i could though it would make you fail the level. I think it was last year when i grabbed Ep 3 RotS on backwards compatibility for my Xbox One on a sale and while very short it was enjoyable. Shadows of the Empire is one of my all time favorite Star Wars games. Jedi Academy is one of the best w/ being able to choose force powers and going down the dark side path but you can change the outcome at a certain story point by deactivating your lightsaber. You can also have dual lightsabers or double-bladed after a story point. The stances to switch between to counter force wielding villains that use lightsabers in fights. Jedi Survivor looks like a good contender to possibly take a high spot on my list of best Star Wars games.

for it's rushed production KotOR II has the most incredibly deep writing, it just barely tops the first game as one of my all-time favourites. Though SWTOR has some great stuff, especially the narrative heavy Eternal Throne/Fallen Empire expansions which were incredible.

I guess I played a lot of the weird games. I really, really, really loved the Star Wars: Rebellion game. I know they tried to bring something similar back with Empire at War but it wasn't the same for me. Much better graphics, obviously, but I really missed sending people to just win over planets with diplomacy and recruiting people, etc. Star Wars Galaxies would be another favorite of mine. Same thing with that one in that people say The Old Republic is a good replacement. I enjoyed that one a bit but it still isn't a replacement for SWG to me. What if I just wanted to sit there and fix droids or something? Rebel Assault games were a lot of fun. Somehow felt like I was actually in the movies when on a mission to take out the TIE Phantoms. Star Wars Racer was constantly being played as well. Ones we do agree on is I was big into the X-Wing games and my favorite was TIE Fighter. I have yet to play Squadrons all that much but it seems interesting. I wasn't the hugest fan of the idea of drifting or any of that stuff but they seem to do similar things in the movies/shows now so I guess it fits. Also a huge fan of the Dark Forces games and haven't gotten much of a chance to play Fallen Order much. I miss Kyle and Jan but I guess this new guy will work well enough. I don't remember hearing about any multiplayer deathmatch mode on that though which is something I could miss a bit. Rogue Squadron was a favorite of mine back in the day as well. Episode III was awesome and I think The Two Towers comparison is quite correct. What I want now is a remake of a Rebellion type game and a GTA/Star Citizen/Star Wars Galaxies MMO game set around the OT. I want the ability to just be a normal guy in the galaxy as well. Not every person has to be some big hero with a lightsaber. Though being able to join the Empire or Rebels (or criminal faction) should be allowed.

KOTOR 2 for its story and characters. Battlefront 2 (original) for sheer reply factor.

My favorite, that I still play often, even 25 years later, is Star Wars: Rebellion (Supremacy outside the US). It was the precursor to Empire at War, but Rebellion is just better in my opinion.

I remember when I first saw Lego Star Wars... it was love at first sight lol. Then, I used to play it for hours every single day. When I got Revenge of The sith game in ps2, I got stuck on Dooku's fight for so much time that I abandoned the game for years

star wars battlefront 2 the Original is still my favorite game of all time and nothing has yet to really compete with that at least not for me the game made you feel like you were in Star Wars and for me no other game has made me feel that way like that game did for me as a kid

Might be an unpopular opinion, but the 2017 Battlefront 2 was not only one of my favourite Star Wars games, but up there with my favourite multiplayer games of all time. The lead up to launch was no doubt one of the biggest shitshows I've ever seen regarding a game, but that meant that the devs worked harder than even trying to make things right, very similar to what happened with No Mans Sky imo. By the end of Battlefront 2's support, we've been left with a really fun, visually incredible Star Wars multiplayer game with absolutely no predatory microtransactions whatsoever. I will say however, I never played the OG Battlefront 2 until well over a decade after it came out, so I missed that boat. We definitely need a newer game to take a crack at Jedi Knights lightsaber combat, I really enjoyed Jedi: Fallen Order, but the thought of that old school combat on modern hardware man, I need it.
