I listened to the audiobook for M&A before I even did Plageuis, and let me tell you... I loved it so much. The voice acting for the audiobook was great, of course, but the story really hit the groove nicely. I grew up reading the Jude Watson Jedi Quest series (Anakin & Obi-Wan) and briefly read bits of her earlier Jedi Apprentice books (Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan), and this brought back so many happy feelings of delving into pre-Clone Wars SW lore. The context that this story gives the events of the epilogue (trying to stay spoiler-free) is really profound and heart-wrenching. If anyone is interested in delving into pre-TPM stories, DEFINITELY listen to M&A as well as Plageuis. IMO they are the be-all-end-all of Pre-Prequel novels, and both tie in nicely to the ending of TPM.

Episode One isn’t my favorite SW movie but Qui Gon and Obi Wan are my favorite two Jedi. I also REALLY loved the Young Jedi books from when I was a preteen, I’ll definitely have to check this novel out.

Are the Jedi Apprentice kids books considered canon (i'd assume not)? Visions/Tales of the Jedi has a great opportunity to explore some of those stories. Bring back Xanatos!

Generally, anything published before 2014 isn't considered canon anymore. - Eric

@@WaveSquadron Had the same thought i guess they cannot use it for any canon shows, but would stil be fun to see them pop up in a visions episode (uncredited to be safe!). I get that its cleaner to have a cut-offf for what is canon, but there is so much good material that you could pull from and put in an anthology series a la "what if"
