As someone who is chronically online, I personally think it just carried on from the previous years of “hot girl summer”. After that a lot of “summers” started to spring up in jest including Chet Hank’s saying white boy summer and for whatever reason, the mainstream media picked up on fans saying brat summer and went to town on it. I don’t think it was anything particular that Charli did but this was a really interesting video

@@avillianchillinskrillian ofc it had to be marketed to them but i think their point is that it was a lot more serendipitous than "genius". when an opportunity presents itself you need the initiative to seize it but the opportunity in and of itself is a unique privilege. people harp way too hard on the genius of these sorts of things. it doesnt take a genius to see that ag cook is at the top of his game rn.
