As a public senior high school teacher, sometimes binibiro ko ang mga students ko about sex education since we all know that in their generation, marami sa kanila ang mapupusok so I educate them. But through this video, natakot ako. I realize na pano if merong akong student na may pinagdadaanan na katulad nito. This is a mind opener to me to be more sensitive about the sex education topic kasi baka ma-misinterpret nila. Thank you Miss Toni G. for this episode.

Having the RIGHT people to support children in school when these things happen is essential. Providing appropriate training for teachers and counsellors in school is so important so children can trust and receive APPROPRIATE advice and take ACTIONABLE STEPS in coordination with the right government departments to investigate further and take the child out of that situation. When they stay in that situation, unconsciously, it’s passed on to the next generation. Lots of therapy and grieving process. They have to grieve that healthy childhood and family life they didn’t have. I hope the government provide more programs and trainings in place to catch abuse before it gets out of hand, or even before it happens.

I agree. She can't solve her problem by creating another problem.

Not even 2 mins in the video, im already crying. Truly heartbreaking. I can relate to whatever shes feeling especially when she said " Walang nakakarinig sakin", exactly what i feel. In order to protect the family's reputation, my guardians hide my trauma to other people.
