I usually take the regular Celine Boston and the small Celine Boston, and I use the regular as my travel bag, and the small one as a crossbody. They are both amazing any time of the year and also easy to carry, safe (zipper!) and resistant.

Will these problems occur if these bags are used daily? I just purchased a metis clutch in monogrammed canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the colorful polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, haha. But I don't think it will be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in the DA but only use it a few times a year in the spring and summer so I don't put much wear and tear on it. I hope I don't see wear and tear for a while. Plus, I'm saving up *condup* . Have any of your colleagues experienced the same problem with this size? I don't mind the shape being a little more relaxed, but I also don't want it to turn into a puddle. Thanks for the video!

I swear the goyard service in Tokyo isn’t bad! The boutiques are just located inside bigger dept stores (like one is inside a takashimaya) so you don’t get champagne served like boutiques in Paris, and maybe some of the staff just don’t speak english as well but i thought it was okay!

I bought the Goyard mini Anjou in my preferred color (grey) in Kyoto a few months ago. It happened after visiting the Goyard stores in Tokyo and Osaka multiple times with not a single one in stock. It’s all by chance and you can’t predict whether you’ll find it or not, but the possibility is there! The tax refund is 10% however the department store collected a service fee. I find the Goyard SAs to be quite nice in both stores in Tokyo. Best of luck!!!

Went in March and brought the Celine small Boston like yours. It was perfect and I saw it everywhere. I also brought my Speedy Nano, but it was too small. You will end up using a completely different bag to carry daily souvenirs that you pick up. The other bag ultimately will not be able to carry everything on gather over the course of your day. You'll end up carrying two bigger bags vs. your purse with the necessities AND your catch all bag. So many people going to Japan this year. Thank you for all the great content.

Just came back from Japan two weeks ago. It's unlikely that you would be able to score a mini Goyard Anjou in Tokyo. However, if you are also travelling to Osaka, you will have a better chance of scoring a Goyard bag. Good luck!

I was in milan in Feb and they didn’t have the bag I wanted (green Anjou pm) so I bought a green St. Louis gm and came back to the states, sold the bag on eBay for a hefty profit $500 and then ordered the green Anjou pm from the Chicago boutique. I was impatient and didn’t want to wait until the next time I was in a European city with goyard. The boheme is also a great bag and I know you love your hobo bags so if it’s available maybe you’ll want to pick that up.

I looked at a lot of backpacks before deciding to buy the *hotdups* . I'm so glad I did. It's a beautiful backpack and very well made. I bought it for an upcoming trip and I'm very happy to have it. Hi Maggy! I just got back from Japan two days ago and used my Celine small boston bag (along with the baggu medium crescent bag) and would recommend!! Matched all my outfits, was super low maintenance, and easy to take out my IC card frequently. My only con is that my shoulder did hurt towards the end of the day bc of the weight of the bag and the thinness of the strap. Howeverrr my baggu bag also made my shoulder hurt a bit, but that could just be from wearing it alll day

I’m surprised I didn’t see the Celine Heloise bag on here 😂 (but I do know the shinjuku Celine has low stock of the leather versions) I dunno how long you’re in Japan for or if you’re only going to Tokyo but there is also a Goyard boutique in Nagoya which when I passed by I didn’t see a lot of people at. But I didn’t go in so I’m not sure about stock 😅 Personally I think the Celine Boston is more care free for travel, esp in Japan bc even tho ppl are nice and such, spaces are tight so restaurants might not have a space to put your bag or it might be really awkward with the opening of the Loewe bag which means you gotta eat with it in your lap… food for thought (pun intended lol)

Tokyo prices esp for the bigger vintage stores are high, comparable to US prices. If you want good deals, you need to go to auction houses or check out vintage stores in Osaka. You can get good value for money in Osaka for grade C merchandise. Really depends on what you are looking for

My favorite size from Chanel is medium! I own three different colors and I use them all heavily. I don't have too many fancy events to attend, but I achieve it by wearing it cross-body (my torso is short enough) and choosing a more casual color (like gray or navy) instead of black. However, I can still easily dress it up if I need to because it has an elegant, timeless silhouette, gold hardware, and is also small enough for evening wear. I've been wanting to get a small black classic clamshell with gold hardware for a long time because I think it looks beautiful and I already own a black retro square mini with 24k hardware *condup*
