Just my thoughts, LV Tote/Airport, Navy Pilage/sightseeing, LV Record/Special Appt. & dinners, Jypsiere/Designer shopping - pack 'em. For Hermes, tie a beautiful silk PINK scarf to the Jypsiere to let them see that you adore this color! Cheers my dear - it should be fun! 🗼

I totally get your reasoning for taking a Hermes bag in case you get an appointment. I would too. And the LV bag is a must if you’re attending a special event there. I do the same thing when I travel. Enjoy your trip. A little jelly I wasn’t invited 😅

As a light packer and someone who never takes luxury overseas, I don’t feel I can really advise but the record is a must and it’s nice and flat. I love the Fornasetti petite malle so it was nice to see it on show in this vid. Safe travels!

I was so transfixed with that gorgeous blue sequinned Fendi that it was hard to focus. You have this gorgeous, pink, black and white LV speedy (it’s unique and fun), that would be great to take with you too, even instead a pink WOC. Also, if you take a black Chanel WOC to Hermes ( I hope you get an appointment) I think that might be a reason for them to pull out lots of Quota bags for you, because they will want you to have Hermes, especially in Paris.

I just came back from two weeks in Italy so I can offer some sound advice. Only take one WOC for sure but consider a belt bag. I used my Chanel belt bag more than any other and my Goyard St Louis PM was really fabulous because it packed flat and I could use it when we were on day trips! The only other bag I took was my mirrored Fendi baguette for nights out. These were simply the best bag selections I have every packed for a trip!🖤 HAVE A BLAST😎

Agree. Plus I wouldn't remove the tassel from the Longchamps La Pliage bag, simply because it makes the bag easy to open when you're busy or have your hands full. Interestingly, Chanel added the chain to bags to stop theft, as thieves were cutting bag straps with sharp knives and grabbing the bags. The more things change the more they stay the same!

It matters what bag you take to Hermes. I know someone who recently wore her birken with a charm on it. The charm was an expensive piece from LV but you couldn't tell. They asked her where she got it. She told them and they said, we hate it. The SA left and came back with a matching pegasus. She bought it along with her new Hermes Kelly. 🌝 Have fun 🎉

I was just in London and I use the XS leather Le Pilage in a pink/lav everyday. I used my neverful pouch for evenings. You should take the Le Pilage, the LV record, and the Chanel mini! Skip the others!

The aged calf skin is pretty durable! The caviar is better but the aged calf is a very close second.

I’ve had my checked luggage completely destroyed (dragged behind the cart and burned everything inside) so if you put anything expensive in there make sure you get the extended coverage!

Do you worry about the risk of theft of your bags when they are in your hotel room? The in room safes are so small and usually will fit a WOC or pochette. Do you have any recommendations for bag safety? I hardly ever take my luxury bags to Europe for fear of theft. I'm so paranoid I'll be targeted. I've use mostly Longchamp LePliage for travel.

I honestly don’t think about it until other people bring it up. I’ve only ever had an issue in NY, but that just taught me to check everything daily so I can raise it with the hotel at the time I notice things missing. I guess I assume with the accommodation I book, it should be safe and secure. A dangerous assumption, but one I always make. It probably comes from living in a country that is so safe.

Can’t wait to see what you finally choose. I think the LV record is a fab choice - easy to pack and quirky and interesting. I don’t think it’s silly to have an Hermes bag for a potential appointment. I would def do the same. I don’t think it will make much difference but I would do same just in case. I know it’s a risk to take exotics so it’s a shame you can’t take your lizard petite Malle. That’s my fav of all time I think!

Great video; I carried my Goyard crossbody every day in Paris and I never felt in danger of being mugged. I think most of the crime is pickpockets. They want to get in and out, with your stuff, unnoticed. It happend to my mom on the Metro. I don't think you have to worry about being mugged unless you're in a dangerous area walking around at night.
