Sir is it must to know intubation, central line n other procedures, ventilator settings before joining any tertiary icu for selection in that icu..Or we can learn after joining

Hii I'm dr Jakir ahmad and, I'm working a small icu set up in Maladah west bengal last day i attend a case of acute infarct of brain... He is having history of unconscious 1 day back... He is passing massive blackis blood through rectum and mouth I don't understand the cause pls explain it and things is that patient have no history of rectal polyp and no other chronic history like t2dm Or htn... Just pass massive blackish blood and cvs symptoms pls explain it sir ??

Sir , A patient of neuro case with raised icp is admited in ICU with NPO diet .If dextrose containing fluid are not given as it may further increased ICP so how we gonna maintain blood sugar level if we dont give dextrose if patient is in NPO
