Hey there! Wasn’t sure if you knew about this infection/ disease. It’s called fly strike. Basically when house flies lay their eggs in wet/warm fur. I read a news article about someone’s dog dying because their dog plays outside in water puddles and flies ended up laying larvae in the dogs skin. The dog didn’t survive cause the maggots basically damaged his skin/organs so bad that surgery wasn’t worth it. Just wanted to mention it!
