California Crystal Hi! Sorry im like months late on this response but it’s as much as you would like to have. People here are super committed to school and their professional life and you can be super committed to a sorority or you can have limited involvement which is totally OK! Let me know if you want a further explanation :)

Hey Fiona! I know you touched a lot on the process, but what about once you're in the sorority? How is the atmosphere? I'm also looking at the benefits of being in a sororiety, and from what I found is that they seem to be a less expensive option with great benefits. Would you mind telling me a little more about your rent/amenities/other benefits of sorority life?

hi fiona!! do you find that finding housing is easy at berkeley?? and do u find that the town of berkeley is safe/the area around the greek row is safe??

Hi Lindsay! If you join free/for sale and housing pages in Berkeley, its definitely possible. Not the easiest process but definitely not impossible. It also depends on what you're looking for (house or apartment)! Berkeley isn't the safest place, I'll be honest but just follow the buddy system and be aware of your surroundings! I, personally have not had any issues (thank god) walking home from greek row or from campus but it never hurts to be extra cautious. Its kind of a zoo sometimes but it definitely plays a huge role in your college experience at Cal!
