In Odisha also Durga Puja is celebrated for 10 days. 9 forms of Maa Durga are worshiped for 9 days, Ravana Dahan is done on the 10th day and Vijaya Dashami (Dussehra) is celebrated. Durga Puja is celebrated for 5 days in Pandals. Many Durga Puja pandals are made in Odisha also. In special Durga Puja pandals in Cuttack, Maa Durga is decorated with silver ornaments. Visiting Pandal is not difficult in others part or small town of Bengal like Falakata here , it can take 10-20 min maximum I think. And our Pandal are very very beautiful too. Also 1hr or 5 hr during Ashtami or Navami night only not other days.

Nobody waits for 5 hours..this year the crowd and traffic management were on different level..never saw such a smooth traffic from sosthi…may be pandals were opened for the first time from mahalya by d gvt order,played a role regarding crowd management..it was very smooth,parking facilities were great this year..

Nahi uncle ye sab Idea bekar kyu fix kare ye humara tradition haii....har time 5 ghante nahi rukna padta aur 1 hour bhi nahi ruk sakte to maat dekho humare yaha culture hai ma ko dekhne k lie thoda intezar karna hi padega value of patience....dusro k lie hum kyu apna culture badle UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE festival ko kuch fix karne ki zarurat nahi... puja yese hi hoga warma hum bengali logo ka maza khatam ho jaega....jisko ana hai wo to aa hi jaega....focus on delhi plz....Kolkata Durga Puja ko kuch fix karne ki zarurat nahii ye ek adventure haii buddhe logo ka manoranjan nahi....

सिर्फ कोलकाता में इतना भीर होता है। क्योंकि पापुलेशन बहुत ही ज्यादा है। और पूरा बंगाल से लोग उधर जाता है। आदर्श जगह में मैक्सिमम 40 से 50 मिनट लगता है। पंडाल में एक बार घुसने के बाद आपको पता ही नहीं चलेगा कैसेटाइम पास होगेया।
