Mordant Solution aka T-Wash etches Galv to give a surface the paint can adhere to, worth cleaning with a detergent or de-greaser first so the T-Wash can properly etch the Galv surface. Then spray your etch primer & undercoat/topcoats of choice.

1:51 Honest question, why dont you mention mordant solution/T-Wash....? No one wants to wait to paint. 6:18 Is that a QC3.0.... ie one that will change usb voltage and charge your phone on a trip to the local Tesco as well as meet your needs on an expedition to Tibet?

These will only fit 1994 onwards. But LR Parts do sell a standard shield that will fit your Defender.
