All Lives Matter seems to almost never be uttered unless it's a direct pushback against Black Lives Matter, as if the two are mutually exclusive. it's not no knock warrants that needs to be stopped, because there might be critical situations that it becomes necessary. It's the authorities that need reforming and training about how to handle the situation. The reason for Floyd’s death is not just racism, the way the cops handled the suspect even after having him on the ground was horrible. I can understand they might have training for restraining suspects by pressing knees against their neck. Just a quick search on police arresting suspects on youtube will bring up a similar way the police handle it. The lack of humanity from the police officer when Floyd said he cant breath, to see if he is okay or not instead of scoring another arrest in his book is the real reason here. It's not the law that needs to change, it's the people that need to change, especially the one who is in charge of taking care of the people. On top of that after doing something horrible, not having the guts to apologize made the situation even worse. If he publicly came out and admitted that he made a huge mistake and he will take responsibility for it would have made the situation much better compared to what is happening right now. Its same case with breonna taylor, because after the murder, the city and police force ganged upon the boyfriend because if the cops had to admit they made a mistake, the police force will lose their prestige and city have to pay millions towards the victim

For those on the left: 1) Stop trying to justify looting and saying it is a protest towards capitalism, stop making up fictional dots to connect it to Floys death 2) Stop asking for all 4 cops to be charged when 2 are relatively new and Officer Lane even asked Senior Officer Chauvin to turn Floyd's body over to prevent him from choking 3) Stop generalising that white ppl are racist or cops are bad

The young woman he references was living with a convicted drug dealer. He was known to have guns and drugs on him which is why they had a no knock warrant. It was OK'd by our judicial system. If you choose to live with a drug dealer, you put yourself in danger when the cops come looking for the drugs. She did not deserve to die, but she put herself in that situation to be raided. She and her car had been to known drug houses multiple times for getting this warrant. When police serve no knocks and shots are fired nothing good is going to come of that.

@@MoMo-00 Casey describes the death of Breonna Taylor as being entirely the cops' fault and BLM is protesting her death. However, it was not the cops' fault because her boyfriend, being a dumbass, opened fire on the cops, who returned fire. She was caught in the crossfire and unfortunately died. Should the cops have been charged with manslaughter? Yes, because that's what it was. It was not murder. That brings me to why BLM protesting her death makes no sense; it was not racially motivated. There's plenty of other murders that were racially motivated; why focus on her story when she would have been killed even if she were white? Now, I support BLM because it has brought institutional change. I do not support what Casey said in this video. People in the comments say that the cops didn't knock and that's why Breonna's boyfriend opened fire, but that's pure idiocy. Who the hell fires shots at a squad of cops busting down the door? No burglar enters the home by busting down a door. Search it up; most of them either open any unlocked door or bust in through a window. There was no reason to think the intruders were anyone other than law enforcement. That the cops had the wrong house or whatever is irrelevant. The guy should not have fired, and him firing caused Breonna's death, simple as that.

Rather myself than my kids!! This injustice needs to stop. I feel so badly for minorities and wish the best for them. This country was supposedly founded by people who escaped injustice in their own countries yet in turn did it here to others. I am a white veteran but I promise I would proudly kneel next to any minority. The melting pot of people I served with was the best part of my life. We as a nation need to stand up and hold hands together!

This takes courage Casey! I was a victim of police brutality going to work one night. When the officer observed the size size of me he told me I was making him nervous. The pig put hands cuffs on me and had all my knees bleeding from dragging me to his car all because I was driving 6 miles over the speed limit in my suburban neighborhood. The officer was off duty and lived 4 houses down the street from me and his lieutenant informed me he was suspended because of this event. Must be nice to rip up a incident persons carpet in their car, looking for drugs for no reason in the world and abuse the person all because they were going 6 miles over the speed limit. Thanks Casey and thanks to all the white people that have stood with us during this time, it will not be forgotten.

@@JohannesWOW The point is that the person we know as Breonna Taylor should not have died on that day. Her life matters just as much as yours and mine and the fact that it was taken away because of a horrible "mistake" caused by 3 police officers shows that there is a severe systemic problem in this country and it needs to change. People do die every day but the reason behind their deaths carry weight. As humans we have ethics and morals and we should be held accountable. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to Justice everywhere."

We get told we are privileged for not being black and shouldn’t speak up on racism bc apparently it’s impossible for us to endure. Tired of privileged black people playing victim.
