This 53 year old Black man, whose personally lived through a lot of traumatic experiences because of racism in our country, thanks you from the bottom of his heart. You didn’t have to take this position. You certainly didn’t have to vocalize your position and risk marring your own reputation and success with your viewers. So thank you for being a good man, Casey. I pray those who may not listen to me might listen to you.

Greetz from Germany. 1.Looting is not protesting. 2.Ignoring reality (interracial violence crime stats) is not helpful. 3.Calling out racism against afro Americans is hypocrite when you ignore there own racism. 4. A Victim mentality is not helpful at all. It's about responsibility to yourself and your society. Rip Georg Floyd

@@jabbers2126 Perhaps not racist for saying All Lives Matter, put often prejudiced or at the very least, ignorant. Yes, perhaps like you said, it's because people don't understand (ignorant) but I see something bubbling just below the surface that goes beyond simply not understanding. All Lives Matter seems to almost never be uttered unless it's a direct pushback against Black Lives Matter, as if the two are mutually exclusive. BLM (the phrase) is a plea, a demand and it does nothing to diminish the importance of other lives. It's not "BLM over any other lives" and so many white people seem to believe that, to have their defense up about it. Well, I'm guessing you might agree with all that already.

@@juniadventures Guess you haven't seen all that many BLM protests if you think 99% of them are violent. Its only the violent ones that you are seeing most of on social media. The majority of these BLM protests are peaceful. We have had multiple BLM protests in my county in NY located about an hour north of NYC and since all these protests started in May not one turned violent nor was there any rioting or looting. This goes for most of the protests that are taking place around the country. Not every protest is Portland, Kenosha, etc. That being said the BLM movement is fractured and many groups claiming to be part of the movement and who are protesting peacefully are making stupid demands such as retribution for slavery and other ridiculous things.

it's not no knock warrants that needs to be stopped, because there might be critical situations that it becomes necessary. It's the authorities that need reforming and training about how to handle the situation. The reason for Floyd’s death is not just racism, the way the cops handled the suspect even after having him on the ground was horrible. I can understand they might have training for restraining suspects by pressing knees against their neck. Just a quick search on police arresting suspects on youtube will bring up a similar way the police handle it. The lack of humanity from the police officer when Floyd said he cant breath, to see if he is okay or not instead of scoring another arrest in his book is the real reason here. It's not the law that needs to change, it's the people that need to change, especially the one who is in charge of taking care of the people. On top of that after doing something horrible, not having the guts to apologize made the situation even worse. If he publicly came out and admitted that he made a huge mistake and he will take responsibility for it would have made the situation much better compared to what is happening right now. Its same case with breonna taylor, because after the murder, the city and police force ganged upon the boyfriend because if the cops had to admit they made a mistake, the police force will lose their prestige and city have to pay millions towards the victim

It doesn't... There are lots of good cops out there we just need to make sure they can't ever do something like this again. People forget the fact that on average a cop gets feloniously killed every week. There are always two sides and many protesters are ignoring that fact. The only thing these protesters are doing is complaining and fuming out their anger which will never solve a problem. The only way to fix this problem is by coming up with a SOLUTION.

The young woman he references was living with a convicted drug dealer. He was known to have guns and drugs on him which is why they had a no knock warrant. It was OK'd by our judicial system. If you choose to live with a drug dealer, you put yourself in danger when the cops come looking for the drugs. She did not deserve to die, but she put herself in that situation to be raided. She and her car had been to known drug houses multiple times for getting this warrant. When police serve no knocks and shots are fired nothing good is going to come of that.

@@MoMo-00 Casey describes the death of Breonna Taylor as being entirely the cops' fault and BLM is protesting her death. However, it was not the cops' fault because her boyfriend, being a dumbass, opened fire on the cops, who returned fire. She was caught in the crossfire and unfortunately died. Should the cops have been charged with manslaughter? Yes, because that's what it was. It was not murder. That brings me to why BLM protesting her death makes no sense; it was not racially motivated. There's plenty of other murders that were racially motivated; why focus on her story when she would have been killed even if she were white? Now, I support BLM because it has brought institutional change. I do not support what Casey said in this video. People in the comments say that the cops didn't knock and that's why Breonna's boyfriend opened fire, but that's pure idiocy. Who the hell fires shots at a squad of cops busting down the door? No burglar enters the home by busting down a door. Search it up; most of them either open any unlocked door or bust in through a window. There was no reason to think the intruders were anyone other than law enforcement. That the cops had the wrong house or whatever is irrelevant. The guy should not have fired, and him firing caused Breonna's death, simple as that.

@@MoMo-00, Breonna Taylor's rental car was found with a dead body in it. There were many pages worth of evidence of how Breonna Taylor participated drug trafficking. The police were not at the wrong house. Eyewitness testimony confirms that the police actually knocked and declared themselves as police. Breonna Taylor was not asleep, she was in the hallway next to her boyfriend when she was shot immediately after her boyfriend shot a police officer. Breonna Taylor's boyfriend initially claimed that she was the one who shot the police.

Casey thank you for this. I marched many many years ago. I watched my hero's get killed, each one ripping a part of my soul. I was not raised seeing color. I thank my grandparents for that. I stood for what I knew was right and a few times got beat up for it. Yes my hero's were killed by hate, people who feared change and equality. I get beat up because I let my friend wear my hat. The other white girls at my school didn't agree with that. My point, we have to change what children are taught, racism, sexism, starts at home. I'm old and plagued by illnesses, but if I could I'd be on the line again fighting for my brother's and sisters, and I imagine I'd be getting a few punches again from other white who don't agree with me. But you have 1 life, everyone should be able to enjoy that life. Everyone stay safe and healthy. Blessed be

I agree! There is value to seeing what's on the inside 🙂♥️ One thing, however. There's nothing wrong with seeing our color when you look at us. Colors are beautiful. Colors united is how we get a work of art. It's the fear or envy of differences that creates this problem. Rather than being colorblind, it is more valuable to see my color and respect me anyway.

It wasn't hey he's Asian or Cuban so I'm going to show respect. I feel she's nice or he's shy I will make the first approach. Where I was raised was in an urban environment. You played with everyone on the block, you went to high school dances with whoever's asked you. I didn't have to tell my grandparents what ethnicity was of the friends who would be spending the nigh for a slumber party, it was just NO BOYS, Lol. To me and I think most of us in my neighborhood thought why is it so hard to get along. You probably say well it was a simpler time. Maybe. But like I said I sat in, protested, rallied all my teenage and twenties. I know life wasn't like my neighborhood. That idea died with Mr. Evers, JFK, Mr. King also the hope I had for Bobby. I watched my friends family fall apart when their oldest boy came home in a box. Many years. However each day is a new opportunity to help make a change. My hope is that this movement will keep getting bigger and stronger. I'd like to see a change before I pass. Stay healthy, safe. Blessed be

The pig put hands cuffs on me and had all my knees bleeding from dragging me to his car all because I was driving 6 miles over the speed limit in my suburban neighborhood. The officer was off duty and lived 4 houses down the street from me and his lieutenant informed me he was suspended because of this event. Must be nice to rip up a incident persons carpet in their car, looking for drugs for no reason in the world and abuse the person all because they were going 6 miles over the speed limit.
