Thanks for putting this together. I reviewed your last years as well and went with MudBlazor for some POC stuff we are working on. Great recommendation! I am curious as to why you did not include the biggies like Telerik, Devexpress and Infragistics. Adding Syncfusion to this comparison is adding a commercial vendor vs. others that are more "free" MIT licenses. Seems like an odd mix. For me a comparison of "free" MIT based packages or a comparison of commercial would make more sense. In any case I am thankful you put this together and once again thanks!

I decided not to add them since the free versions are great, and honestly I personally prefer supporting those projects vs paying a corporation for sometimes worse products kept sync fusion since they have a free option for small developers

For anyone looking to make a decision the only library of the 3 that doesn't require it's own JavaScript file is Blazorise and that alone is enough to push it ahead of AntDesign & MudBlazor for me

Working with Telerik I'd love to know how their speed compares.

I'm working with Telerik for 2 years, but now I am switching to Blazorise or Mudblazor, Telerk is really heavy and low performance
@PorkisChopis2 жыл бұрын
@@aliborjian6564 Did you ever make the switch from Telerik? What was your experience?
@nbaua345411 ай бұрын
Telerik is cranky at a times.. performance is way too poor and we switched to AntDesign because it is clean and really faster than others in our opinion, lots of stuff and sample make our developer's life easy, you just grab a sample code and paste it in for your usage, simply change as per requirement and kaboom...

Are you gonna do another one for this year? What about libraries line Havirt.Blazor?

Yes, I am traveling for work for the next month but after that I should have time for it

Coming closer? Syncfusion seems to have removed the individual purchases so now you can only buy it all for a hefty yearly sum.

I'm wondering, is there any way to use one component from a library and use another from other in a performant way? I use the Autocomplete from MudBlazor and find it quite annoying that I can't set the object's property value to return. On the other hand, in the Blasorise we can set what property of the object we need to return to the model. Does anyone deal with this in a project?
@codingflamingo2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it technically makes your app a bit heavier and you might have to do some css changes but I actually use the blazoraise charts in a MudBlazor project at work

@@codingflamingo I was wondering if the tree-shaking feature can optimize the build and delivery just the compiled code of the components really used in the project.

Honestly it's not a big difference between having one or two libraries, I wouldn't sweat it

What do you think about Devexpress Blazor controls ?

I have not tried it since there are some very nice open-source options. Have you tried it?

DevExpress is pretty dope!

Trying to decide between Telerik, Blazorize, and MudBlazor myself. MudBlazor is tempting just because it is free.

Personally I would go with blazorize or mudblazor. Both are great options

Nice run-down of "free" components. Definitely need to include licensing in your criteria. FYI, Blazorise is not free for commercial. Also, let's do a component breakdown. Compare them to Telerik. You could do it as a simple grid with check marks. Do they have an Html Editor (TinyMCE wrap?) Word Editor? Report Capabilities? Do they have PDF component. RDL viewing Component? How about Spreadsheet capabilities? Analytics support? Mobile support? Theming (Prebuilt material design, bootstrap, etc) So many ways to go with this.

Blazorise just copied Mudblazor docs code and by the looks of it did not even follow their MIT license and left it out... Nope.
