I worked with a very slim woman once. She'd come to work in the a.m with a flat tum, but by lunchtime her tummy looked second trimester for the rest of the day. I worked with another gal , not slim but slightly overweight. She was so proud to share she only had a BM once a week. I can still see the look on most of our faces when she for whatever reason decided to share that. We were equally concerned for her health. Happy New Year Dr.A, may you and your family be continually blessed.

You encouraged me to see a tcm practitioner here in the US to check my fatigue, brain fog and hair loss. The practitioner told me it can be related to my thyroid and I was shocked when she praised pharmacy pills. She told me she has been taking them for years and they work better than any herb she can recommend. I left feeling a little bit disappointed as she didn’t provide any encouragement to use herbs to improve my health. Just take the pills if you have thyroid issues. Is that normal?

How can I find a ‘real / trained’ Dr of Chinese medicine? I’m having issues with finding someone. I see Chinese herb shops but don’t know how experienced these people are. I’ve had non stop stomach issues since my gallbladder was removed several years ago and I am desperate for help.

I took the "quiz" (went through the booklet) and it didn't really clarify anything for me. I tick off a couple of symptoms in every category/TCM organ system, but there's no obvious predominant category.

Hi, do you mind to spell out the two herbal formulas you mentioned and what brand you might recommend? What do you think of Xiao Chai Hu Tang for these issues?

Best to see a licensed acupuncturist who does herbs

@@mandarinlearnerI agree. It's best to consult with a practitioner to find exactly what you need and the dosages, in order to benefit without further complications or delays. You'll then see the results quicker and completely too. For complete health it's wonderful to work alongside a practitioner, someone who is accessible and has your best interest at heart, like Dr Heyne.
