Soon will be roaring inshallah, make sure them rods are straight they are known to bend,if the piston wrist design was a bit stronger the m157 would be one of the strongest AMG engines alongside the m113k

Just a thought bro, why not look at this as a opportunity to go BIG power and get a built engine? uprated crank and rods? Etc.. Chances are it will probably cost about the same as what you looking at now or a bit more and you'll end up with a KILLER CLS63.. Hit up MSL Performance Mercedes specialists and find out what they can do for you at this stage. You never know maybe you'll be better off. All the best brother.
@ltrick30962 жыл бұрын
If he goes to MSL performance they will charge an arm and a leg for labour ect. The whole point is to find cheap cars, get them fixed in house and sell them on. He has his own garage so can use the labour costs to his advantage

Just curious why the engine was not turned over manually first , prior to replacing the starter motor 🧐
@NamzBoost2 жыл бұрын
Because we addressed the electric side of things first (no sign of starter moving when turning key) like the sound you hear once we did change it, It turned out to be a dead starter motor anyway so nothing lost
@zaizainjamal2 жыл бұрын
@@NamzBoost That's probably because the previous idiot owner fried the starter motor too. by constantly trying to start it once the engine had ceased. Adding additional damage SMH
